LiquidBronze. Earlier, I was able to make the game launch with the developer mode, however I can not do this anymore.
I think a launcher update broke it.
There is supposed to be a way to be able to launch the configurator with
the developer flag which lets you also laod the test level as well as enable the debug spawn menu AND allow the use of the console by pressing the console key.
can you please tell us how to enable these things?

I just tested this addon, and it still works.
Just make sure that the folder directories are correct.
Actually, I think the steam version is quite broken.
I don't see an uzi.
I see a green/blue glow around the shotgun which is not supposed to be there.
The titles are broken.
The PDF System, I didn't know even existed until I watched the video.
I accessed that little office building without having to grab a keycard because the window was broken etc etc...

no, there isnt any kind of a sprite starting with billow in the original game, thus, you need to make a folder called sprites in the mods own folder and put the billow sprites in there
since your mod is using them. upon not finding them the game errors.
I copy pasted those sprites from another mod and then it worked.
Also, now im stuck at the place with the high temperature
pipes, I can not proceed with the game... Help?
I also managed to make the enemies throw flash bangs and
smoke screens at you. Those don't seem to affect the throwers, but it will of course affect the player.
That will be uploaded here but I am starved for time...
Changing the spawn percentage is something I experimented with, but during field testing, I noticed that it made enemies spawn with crazy amounts of F1 grenades for some reason and also broke the grenade throwing.
I don't know if I will be able to remedy that, so far
I have not been able to.
I don't know what "check_period" does, are you sure it can reduce the nade spam?

I successfully enabled the developer mode and was able to turn on things like god mode, and enemies not shooting at you etc.
But do you know how to enable noclip?
Also, some of the options here don't seem to work.
I get 3 different menus by pressing f1, f2, f3.
There are options like starting a blowout(doesn't work)
The item spawn seems to work though.

I am interested in making some addons / fixes for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha v1.4007.
I already made like 4 addons and more are on the way.
If possible, I would like to have my own mod channel in the game's launcher menu as well as some more guidance and instructions on modding this game.
For example, how to enable cheats / god mode / spawn items / developer mode et cetera. As obviously this would be helpful in modding.
And some information on game parameters etc etc.

But, to extract the .xdb files that the mods have, this doesn't seem like it works, but this one does work:

Download the SoCPUP v1.0 from this website.
Download both extractors, then proceed to extracting the contents of .db and .xdb files from the game and the mods.
those files need to be renamed database.db though or the extractors don't work.
I successfully extracted everything, so let me know if you have any difficulties.

I thought the likelihood of throwing it was at the [community_percent_Off] because the more "elite" groups such as military, duty, freedom and monolith have 90% there for the master difficulty while stalkers have 80% and bandits have 70%.
Also, this number is lower for the lower difficulty levels which makes sense of course.
The spawn rate, I would rather leave that the same.

Thanks for the comment, I am curious as to how you decreased the likelihood of the enemies throwing grenades at you.
This addon is just the default value, but I think I would like to make a version where they are likely to throw less.

But, the games nights are still way too dark.
Does anyone know how to make the nights lighter maybe with a config file edit.
Also, how to extract the database files inside the game?
I tried some extractors, but none of them work.

Okay... so I want to say some things about this mod with the newest patch 1.4005 and stuff. maybe you care about what I have to say, maybe not who knows eh?
So, you could give us an in game option to disable head-bobbing i know how to change it with gamedata and stuff but still, and the weight 35.0 kg is too low, why not 50 kg like in original game?
this game just changes some of the things unnecessarily like how the brightness is too low at nights, and that vine trap anomaly and stuff. I would have liked it better if they were like the original game.
I liked how the extra patch gives u another weapon slot, but i still think we should have a seperate sub machine gun slot, and a seperate rocket launcher slot as well. The player should probably get an rpg at the agroprom place so they can shoot down the helicopter that flies around.
Also, timed autosaves like autosave every 5 minute feature, and make the night vision better, it looks awful.. i can't beleive i paid 10,000 rubble for this crappy night vision.
And... add more artifacts at places like garbage and more belt slots... its way too little !! where are we gonna put all that rocket launcher ammo, and artifacts, and bullets...

Developers, the game is too dark at nights. If I raise up the gamma, contrast and brightness then it is better but then it looks wrong also.
The flashlight has a short range and the night vision is even worse than not having night vision at all. so, the enemies see you and shoot you and you can't shoot back, it is bad. (original game wasn't like this)
Also, please remove the black vine anomaly that when you step on, traps you and gives you like 100% bleeding, you can't save yourself no matter what you do from this anomaly and it is invisible and it can not be detected by the detector. (original game didn't have this)
So yeah... these two things are ruining the game for me. vote up if you agree and please fix these issues. See you.
