Thank you for your work over the years its a excellent project that I've had many hours of enjoyment with. Out of all the Tibsun mods I think I have to say that yours is the most tonally consistent of the bunch, I really appreciate all the attention to detail and how well it all fits together with the original concepts that Tibsun has/had.

Best of luck in your next adventure. Heres hoping you manage to find some time to wrap up the campaign in a couple extra missions at some point.

Love the attention to detail, as always. Really nailed the aesthetic imo especially with the terminator inspired designs. Sucks it'll be another year for a few more screenshots and probably 2-3 more years till any of us can actually play with any of this, but I guess it is what it is at this point.

Not much faster with my changes. Yep I tried to make the rocket launcher closer to stock in the animated versions. Shotgun reload and pistol fire rate should be five second fixes.

Should be able to get this done tomorrow if time permits.

I have no idea friend. I will mess around with it and see If I can get it to work, though seeing how Absolute is currently put together I'm going to doubt it.

Yep, thats what happens if you load the mod via the Doom 3 mod screen.

Navigate to your Doom 3 Directory in steam. If its anything like the non-steam Doom 3 then you should have some folders (Absolutehd, base, d3xp, docs, etc) and exe's. Try using the d3ahd.exe which should luanch the Absolute mod.

If its not there I'm going to assume the mod didnt install correctly. Perhaps it installed to C: drive instead? If thats the case either move or delete it or just reinstall it to the Doom 3 folder in steam.

Just updated the patch to v1.32

Changelog as follow:

-(ALL) Double-barreled shotgun stats changed to ite ROE base stats. (Was far to strong)
-(ALL) Double-barreled shotgun impact effects have sparks now like the regular shotgun.
-(ALL) Player has Max armor decreased to 125 from 150.
-(Animated) Weapon pickups (not ammo) gave too much ammo, its been reverted to default Doom 3 amounts.
-(Non-Animated) Fixed no weapon wobble when sprinting.
-(Animated) Fixed Double-barreled shotgun wobble when sprinting.
-(Animated) Reduced Machine Gun spread just slightly.
-Noted in readme the shotgun reload change (from 2 shells to 1)
-(ALL) Reduced runspeed in ROE version of Absolute (Was very fast, now default doom 3)
-(ALL) Removed new grenade animations introduced in Absolute ROE. (Caused the throw range to be reduced heavily)

If you have an earlier version I'd suggest updating this time around.

Just updated the patch to v1.2

New features are:
-Another choice for if you want the new animations but dont want the altfire modes
-Rocket launcher in new animation versions now has a clipsize of 5 again. I will remove this if people dont like it.
-Pistol firerate increased in new animation versions to better suit the animations.

So all in all, you probably dont have to re-download unless you want any of these minor features.

Yeah, if your using the new animation version, alt fires are still in, sorry I didnt mention it. I'll look into removing them in anopther optional file.

Installation instructi
1. Extract contents to "XXX\Program Files (x86)\DOOM 3\absolutehdroe"
-Create "absolutehdroe" folder if necessary.

2. Use the bat file inside "absolutehdroe" to start the game

3. If your game is failing to load or crashing, try going into "XXX\Program Files (x86)\DOOM 3\absolutehdroe\glprogs" and replacing the "interaction" and "test" files with versions in the other folders in the glprogs folder.

Awesome stuff as always Carnius. Just a question though, could you update us on the current changes to the vanilla factions at all. For example, whether or not your keeping the Nod Tunnel networks or whether all the bugs with the Montauk are fixed? Just wondering.

Gave it a shot but didn't see any major differences man. I'll keep it on and continue to further test it but as of now its not doing much different. They may build a slight bit faster but it isnt by alot.

Textures are nice by the way, and appreciate the links.

Yes I know about that. Problem is, as others have reported on various forums, including your own is that it literally does nothing. The AI just doesn't put up any fight with or without the hotfix or the AI control panel. Thats why I'm asking if your dev team has an updated version of the AI from 0.5b3 or some other internal build that you could upload and allow me and others to test with 0.5b2.

Any chance you guys could upload another AI patch? I mean the hotfix works, its better then it was. Regardless the AI is just so slow in comparison to other races (takes 15 - 20 minutes to hit tier 2). Surely after all this time you guys have some newer version of the AI you could give us no? something with a little more omph? I know that your still working on 0.5b3 and thats all fine and dandy but perhaps you could give us your current AI build for the time being assuming its backwards compatible with 0.5b2?
