I did, but that was a question about whether the DEldar or Tau would get mods, not about the nature of the mods.

I'm rather recent to using the mods, so haven't seen the previous blogs, and I sorta stopped paying attention to the screenshots after a half hour of clicking through them and not getting anywhere near the end

I'm curious about something. Next update will change the Necrons, are there plans to change the other core races? Space Marines are technically unchanged, but they've added or will add about half a dozen 1st Founding Chapters with unique units and such. Same with Chaos Marines. Eldar also have a planned Craftworlds mod, but what about the Dark Eldar or Tau?

First thing I tried was the Salamanders and then the Space Marines, I did eventually manage to get it to work with the Emperor's Children, only to be easily defeated by the Children of Isha.

well I figured out how to enable it, but all it was was a regular skirmish match. Followed the instructions and turned off all rules except for Kill Team and a VC, but it simply turned into a skirmish match.

Its a thing? I've tried looking for Kill Team but I can't ever find it. Is it some separate mod I need to download?

Actually a couple hours after i complained about those problems i fixed them. Just needed to use the newest version of Tyranids, and i have no idea why, but AdMech now works.

Took a look at the post about what to expect. Really hope they update the UI for the Thousand Sons, I want to like them but actually controlling them is sorta painful. what with how unlike literally every other race, you have to press a switch button in order to fully use each unit, going back and forth between recruitment and wargear, and spells and abilities.

Having some problems with the Tyranids and AdMech. Right now the Unification_New_Races_Config doesn't even recognize the Tyranids, and when I try to use the Admech, the game just shuts down.

Ok, thank you for your advise, it now works, but now unit selection is f***** up. basically whenever I try to click a new unit the previously selected unit remains under my control. I'm constantly having builders abandon their projects to join scouts in capturing points, while scouts will abandon their task to help build buildings. Not to mention when I'm building and builders will abandon the first project to work on the 2nd one.

Previously had Ultimate Apocalypse, then swapped over to Unification for a little while, then decided that I wanted to play some UA. But when I tried it kept saying that it couldn't activate the game code, so I decided to uninstall everything to try again. I have downloaded the Tyranids mod and I added the Locale/English/Data file that the game requires but doesn't create. Where am I going wrong?

Ok, it turns out that I simply didn't know about the brain symbol being the building method, but before I checked that I reinstalled FreeUI and now I don't have any sound track as the Tyranids

Just gave the Tyranids a try, I was only able to recruit the genestealers and the broodlord, and was unable to do anything else.
All I could do was do capture points, couldn't build anything on them, and I was unable to build new buildings or do any upgrades. Are they supposed to be like that and I was just missing something, or is there a problem with the mod?

Trying to play the Tyranids in Unification but they don't appear on the mod manager or new race configurer. Do I need to manually place them there?

How do I summon Vulkan? I basically committed suicide when it kept telling me that I a "Limit of 1" when I had yet to summon Vulkan, so I kept killing off my units until I got overrun by Dark Eldar

Not sure if people are still paying attention to the Thousand Sons mod, but I've been having issues for it. For one thing with the Thrall Wizard several of the interface buttons, such as the Create Buildings button are replaced by a purple square. And another thing is that I'm unable to add more squadmates or exotic weapons to my Rubric Marines. Not sure if this is a problem in the late game units, as this handicap has made it so that I'm unwilling to actually stick with the game long enough to find out which is a shame as I was looking forward to playing the Thousand Sons. Does anyone have these issues, or any way to solve them?

Ok, got it to work, turns out I forgot to change the numbers of the DXP2 and W40K files to fit better. So far it looks like its the Ad Mech mod thats causing everything to shut down, but I haven't finished checking all the mods yet. Right now the biggest problem is the lag, at least unless I find out more mods are causing it to shut down.

Ok, tried both of those things, neither of which worked, in fact when I tried to do so with your method the game refused to open at all. Tempted to just uninstall everything and then try again.

Ok, been playing the Thousand Sons mod, and I've been noticing some glaring issues that ruin the experience. One of the lesser ones is that several of the UI buttons are replaced with a purple square, such as the Create Building button for the Thrall Priests. Another one is that I'm unable to access things like, add squadmate, or add exotic weapon for units such as the Rubric Marines. I really want to like this mod, but just so many problems.

Ok, I think I figured out the problems with using just the individual race files. Basically when the game was full screen it couldn't handle the load and just shut down. When the window is minimized I can swap race mods pretty easily. The difficulty comes when I try to turn on Unification itself, as full screen or not, still can't get it to work.

While this did help with the race mods being recognized by the New_Race_Config, it did not help with the Unification mod problem. It did fix most of the Race mod issues, but Black Templar still doesn't work.

Been trying to install Unification and all the race mods, whenever I try to activate Unification New Races within the game itself, it just keeps telling me that it failed to activate the requested game. Also when I've tried to activate individual mods rather then the Unification one, it just keeps telling me that it can't initialize the video card and then shuts down the game. And another thing, a number of the race mods aren't recognized by the New_Race_Config, keeps saying that "The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"
