I am a 22-years old Indonesian living in Bandung. I am a veteran gamer of some sort, especially FPS games. I have a lot of interests, such as general knowledge, history, militaries (especially guns) and of course, gaming, at which most of my family think that I am obsessed to video games. Thanks in no small part due to tendencies of free-to-play online games released in my country being mostly "pay to win", my fondness to video games is now limited to popular franchises, although sometimes I played certain recent online games just for tryouts. Currently my gaming interests have begun to wane, perhaps due to my age and having little time and more things in my mind since studying in the university. Other than playing video games, I spent most of my time in front of my PC by browsing the Internet or editing my conceptual "ideal" online shooter game, which now becomes my dream that I pursued so much where I could actually develop the said game.

I'm really impressed to see someone making a mod covering my country's history, perhaps the first time it is taken seriously into video games. Nothing much else I can say.
Although the development for the mod is ceased, I should say that Point of Existence 2 is a great mod for BF2 with expanded features and settings, yet still retain the vanilla gameplay of the original BF2.
There's one point, though; the singleplayer maps are lacking in comparison to the multiplayer, although when I had the time and opportunity, I wanted to convert some of the mod's multiplayer-only maps (such as The Fall of Kiev) into appropriate singleplayer maps.
Overall I give Point of Existence 2 an excellent 9/10 rating.
The mod is good enough and add an interesting diversity to RA2's mods as well as an alternative to the popular Mental Omega if one prefers a more vanilla gameplay.
One major thing to note, though: the AI, even on Easy, is too difficult for a casual player due to its rushing and less predictable tendencies; even Mental Omega's AI since version 3.3 is far easier and manageable (in Easy and, to some degree, Normal) than YR Red-Resurrection in its present version. I just hope that the AI is at least toned down in the upcoming updates.
Overall, YR Red-Resurrection is a very good RA2 YR mod; if it weren't for the too difficult AI, I would have give it an excellent 9/10 score.
MidEast Crisis 2 really takes its predecessor into a higher level with more fun. I can't say more.
Only one thing in my mind though; the contents may be a bit sensitive to some religious "hardliners", but nevertheless, the mod is very good.
The mod was good; it improves the vanilla Zero Hour gameplay in many aspects. Shockwave and Rise of the Reds are better than this mod, but I say that this mod was one of the best.
Rise of the Reds is really the best Generals Zero Hour mod out there. The main reason of this is because the addition of two new factions (Russia and ECA) along with various improvements to the original factions and the inclusion of new and updated arsenal for all five factions, and many other inclusions and upgrades. In short, this mod is a must for Generals Zero Hour lovers.
There's only one thing though; the mod's development is lengthy, but I believe that it will be worth the wait.
Mental Omega APYR expands RA2 YR further with new features, factions, units and buildings, campaign missions and many more, which really stands for its name: Almost Perfect Yuri's Revenge.
The campaign is a bit more difficult and challenging than the vanilla RA2, but is still manageable. So does the skirmish AI, which I felt is well-balanced between difficulty settings for casual players since version 3.3.
Overall, Mental Omega APYR deserves a perfect 10/10 rating for being the best mod for RA2 YR and an unofficial expansion for the vanilla game as well. Perhaps EA might want to look at Mental Omega APYR for the upcoming remasters of classic C&C games.
The mod's nice; it brings quite a high degree of realism into BF2. However, it still have some flaws, but otherwise it's one of the best BF2 mods out there.
