I am a 22-years old Indonesian living in Bandung. I am a veteran gamer of some sort, especially FPS games. I have a lot of interests, such as general knowledge, history, militaries (especially guns) and of course, gaming, at which most of my family think that I am obsessed to video games. Thanks in no small part due to tendencies of free-to-play online games released in my country being mostly "pay to win", my fondness to video games is now limited to popular franchises, although sometimes I played certain recent online games just for tryouts. Currently my gaming interests have begun to wane, perhaps due to my age and having little time and more things in my mind since studying in the university. Other than playing video games, I spent most of my time in front of my PC by browsing the Internet or editing my conceptual "ideal" online shooter game, which now becomes my dream that I pursued so much where I could actually develop the said game.

Well, I've just realized the problem: the AI's defenses are quite tight on Easy, which makes infiltration a bit problematic. And the paradrop as well, which is sometimes unpredictable.

The attack patterns in Easy is not too easy, but too hard either. Perhaps the number of Scorchers should be reduced a bit, though.

Even after all the updates, the mod's still difficult as ever even on Easy. It's really unfriendly for casual players like me.

I wonder whether modders have different standards about difficulty than dedicated developers, as for me, mods' Easy difficult is more like Medium, and so on. Perhaps Red Resurrection should take note about this.

And one more thing, could the AI's usage of epic units and support powers be changed to be less annoying, at least? I hate when the AI often caught me off-guard with unexpected use of Master Control and a Vortex Tank that destroys my base when I'm busy assembling my forces. At least make the Easy AI do not use epic units as with in Mental Omega.

The Easy AI's less aggressive now, but I think the amount of units, especially vehicles, in each attack should be reduced and make them no longer use epic units and/or heroes. Especially the paradrops which is really annoying since sometimes it can be unpredictable on where it'll be dropped, and I'm no good at microing either.

There's still some problems that need to be addressed though, like the UK AI constantly dropping Decoy Army in their own base and the Cloning Vats which awkwardly uses the Grinder's sound when an infantry is sent into it.

Balanced? Isn't hard at all? Really? Maybe for you, it wasn't hard at all, but for a casual player like me, it is! I do agree with kokokko416, the AI had to be toned down to around Mental Omega's level.

Find the "ObjectTemplate.createComponent SoldierBasedRecoilComp" line on the m224_mortar.tweak and the Mortar_deployable.tweak file located in the Objects_server archive (they are located in Weapons/Stationary/m224_mortar and Weapons/Handheld/Mortar_deployable folders respectively), then delete that line.

That's it - I've had enough of dealing the extremely difficult skirmish AI of MO, even in Easy! Now I just uninstalled the mod and won't play it until the AI's difficulty is revised!

So please, for the next Beta Revision, adjust the skirmish AI's difficulty so it will be much easier for us casual players!

Thanks, but please adjust the AI's force composition so it will be easier to deal with; is the Soviet AI attacking with four Kirovs can be said as "easy"? No - even I think it's "brutal", and when it happens, I almost break my laptop in frustration!

One more thing, even RotR has an, at least, easier AI compared to MO.

The skirmish AI is way too difficult for a casual player like me - even in Easy difficulty setting! Even sometimes I could get on my nerves when playing the mod!

Can the difficulty be reduced to make it friendly for us casual players?
