Hi Edain Team! It's been a long time since I posted here and I must see what 4.5 has in store for me (havent played since Angmar was released!).

So I went and got BFME2 and ROTWK again, and I also downloaded this mod again as well, however I came across an error when I tried to launch it from the Edain Launcher. Note that my ROTWK is running 2.02v8 and BFME2 on 1.06 (for compatibility) which all works without error, but when I run it through Edain Mod, I get this particular error: Imgur.com

Mayhaps I get any assistance on what the problem may be? I tried reinstalling both game and expansion with all the necessary patches, but when it comes to starting-up Edain Mod, it goes to that error.

Ecthelion of the Fountain

People needs to learn to restrain themselves by asking questions starting with "WHEN". Gives these guys some slack and some respect that they're actually spending quality time to give us an enjoyable piece of gaming experience long after it's release.

Reckon you can do Turin Turambar son of Hurin, I love the tragic story of that house, the cursed story of Hurin's family which brought upon the fall of Nagrothond and Doriath and the slaying of Glaurung, I actually cried as much as when Boromir/Gandalf died in the films/books.

Everything I had hoped for, Thank You EDAIN! Now all we need is Goblins and I shall rest in peace.

Now we shall wait for the Goblins Faction.. OH MAN. I've just finished Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales and I can't wait to have to go against the full arsenal of Goblins.

So I'm guessing we can't have DaC and MoS together?

as much as I hate to admit, they do release a news update about the next faction release on about 3-4 months prior to it's release, so I think we'll need to wait for it at about September or October at least.. long wayyyys to go xD

So... creative. seriously, can't imagine a better outcome than these heroes, all Angmar needs now are the troll outpost :D, but all in all, creative as always, and i agree with ruudDevil, Angmar's game style really sets apart from the other factions entirely, goosh i cant wait for it this upcoming winter!!

to me, Mirkwood soldiers are as I would put it, the shield to break and hold a line. I use them to outlast an upcoming enemy army, as I direct my other units such as Archers like you mentioned to loose arrow upon their battalions. Mirkwood may not win against 1v1, but hell, they do their job well as shields. I also use them to buy time for my units to be trained, they really are great for different things but for me mainly, as a front-liner. The Lothlorien swordsmen suck *** with frontliner, Mirkwood Swordsmen sustains damage far longer

considering this mod is their type of 'hobby', they wouldnt spend all of their time for this, they dont gain money from this, the least we could do is to give em recognition and not blatant beckoning.

their forts must be somewhat related to Gundabad trolls, or at the very least Angmar trolls and such, it would be pretty good to have a stone cave for a sub-faction.

possibly Easterlings/Harad/Umbar in one faction and probably hobbits? I'm just speculating at this point but it'd be pretty epic

Epic map, I love how you implemented the echo-voice over in the cave, and AI is perfectly fine too! Might i suggest to place an outpost just outside, between the gates and the bridge. It'd be great to create additional forces when going against 3 brutal mordor/isengard, seeing as they will just flush my starting units out without a problem, the defense is great but I'd like to put up a fight at the least, since my units won't have any impact at all, I want to battle-out till the last elven soldier.

I'm still waiting on 4.3, so I'm frustrated, excited and overjoyed, waiting till the age of men is over, how about you?

spoiled or not, you should watch it, it's the dramatic visuals and the characters during the story that will get you to enjoy it. It's isn't perfect, but it's nowhere near the word 'meh' a solid 9/10
