I still think you should let Dark Empire and Crimson Empire build Dark Jedi like Pentastar. Dark Empire was THE most Force-using force of that era.

Haha, I get the idea to give creep factions some lands, just a little sad that I won't see a big "LORDAERON" written on the map immediately ;)

I mean the lands of the Kingdom of Lordaeron, there are green and yellow spots of land disconnecting them here on this map:

The Blackrock remnants of Lordaeron as seen in WC3 are not the same thing as the ex-blacktoothgrin clansmen under Rend Blackhand in the Burning Steppes. For one thing, they are active demon worshippers, unlike Rend's horde.

You can freely make "Blackrock Warlocks" or Slavers a separate faction, or vassals to the Legion, to highten the pace of Third War in Lordaeron.

Maybe make Alterac it like Upper Burgundy in vanilla CK2, with a lot of mountain provinces? Lorewise, it has to contain ogres, Blackrocks, Frostwolves, Stormspikes, the Syndicate...

Maybe divide the Strahnbrad province and put Stranbrad proper a bit further to north east, to explain how it became a part of Lordaeron by the times of Third War, while Ruins of Alterac and orcish lands did not?

Cool! Can you also get some provs to connect eastern and western Lordaeron?

Then again, in the followup tweet he said to me that it was his personal opinion and not actual canon.

Anyway, do what you like. There's a few projects we have there on early Warcraft lore, like Ramses's take, or Marthen's Historian take on Warcraft, and people have treated Lothar as both a cadet house name and a given name. Sorry for bothering you.

Actually, scratch our discussions, I checked out old tweets of Loreology, and Sean said that Lothar is a surname, so that's a Blizz Historian confirmation... Even though he calls himself "Sir Lothar" here:
Blizzplanet.com

Sorry, and carry on. I guess we could say that "Lothars" are a cadet house of Arathi Dynasty? Something like that.

(Lord Lastname is indeed a common form, unlike Sir/Ser, but w/e)

Will there be some province to connect eastern and western Lordaeron?

There's also a dwarven colony on the east shore of Arathi Highlands, I don't think it's all Witherbark troll...

Very nice map of Alterac. Still, will you place the Blackrock Clan splinter group in the (hypothetical) Third War timestamp?

But you can't address somebody as "Sir Lastname". "Sir" should be used specifically with a given name.

Lothar is noted as "the last of Arathi", even though if it was said about the tribe, there'd be other descendants among the people of Stromgarde and Stormwind, meaning: "the last of Arathi" means the last of Arathi dynasty.

We've had discussions about this on Scrolls of Lore, and looked at how the way Lothar's names are used throughout novels and game manuals.

Could also add the Council of Tirisfal, the Earthen Ring, the Argus Wake...

He means the picture in the duel events. One of the dueling soldiers wields the shield of House Arryn from ASOIAF.

"Anduin" and "Lothar" are both given names, which is why he's been sometimes addressed as "Sir Lothar" or "Lord Lothar" in the books.

The House name should be "Arathi", with Lothar having a lineage that dates back to the High Kings of Arathor, potentially with him having claims to (non-existent) e_arathor or even k_stormwind.

I asked before, but didn't get an answer, so I'd like to ask again.

Currently the Dark Jedi are only available for Pentastar Alignment.

Will you make them available to Dark Empire (THE most darkside-affiliated Imperial faction in EU) and the Crimson Empire in later releases?

I mean, it makes much more sense for Palpatine on Byss to have hireable Dark Side Adept forces, rather than Pentastar, which only had some temporary alliance with Jerec.

On Pentastar, any plans to include their specific infantry, like the one depicted assisting the InQuestors of Judgment here:

Currently the Dark Jedi are only available for Pentastar Alignment. Will you add them for Palps's Dark Empire and the later Crimson Empire, probably the most Force-oriented Imperial factions in the lore, for later releases?

The First Order is much more evil than any version of the Imperial Remnant from the old EU, bar only Dark Empire, perhaps, I think they should be a faction of their own.

For the Restored Empire and First Order Heroes you might want to look up the new books, actually, as they added loads of new moffs and admirals different from the EU Imperial ones.

Thank you for the quick answer, I found the option now. Interesting stuff, good job.

Colonization CB just doesn't appear now in 1.0, and you can't Fabricate Claims on Ruins, so they are just plain unconquerable. This needs some hotfix.

Provinces that need fixing (Europe):

Temes (517) should be Romania
Bacs (518) should be Serbia
Bihar (520) should be Romania
Peremyshl (534) should be Poland
Marmaros (539)should be Romania
Belgorod (512) should be Ukraine
Olvia (542) should be Ukraine
Desht-i-Kipchak (564) should be Ukraine (it has baronies like Sviatohirsk, Tor etc.)
Istria (458) should be Croatia
Krain (457) should be Slovenia
Kärnten (456) should be Slovenia (too low to be part of modern Austria, probably should rename it)
Jämtland (282)should be Sweden
Herjedalen (284) should be Sweden
Jülich (90) should be Germany
Breda (92) should be Netherlands
Sambia (371) should be Russia
Scalovia (422) should be Russia
Marienburg (370), Galindia (427), Chelmno (369) should all be Poland (Russian Eastern Prussia was definitely not as big as the old one, and Lithuania was only given Memel after WW2, not the rest of Scalovia)
Salzburg (448) should be Austria
Sopron (450) should be Hungary
Ostfriesland (85) should be Germany
Mstislavl (551) should be Belarus
Slesvig probably should be cut into two?

Albania kinda hard to put into place. It really takes a lot of Zeta (and not so much of Epirus), but that would remove Chernogoria completely.

Baronies in "Lower Don" (actually should be Kalmius) should be fixed, with Taganrog put to Don Portage and Mariupol instead of it.

Give c_lukomorie flag to Lower Don or Desht-i-Kipchak.

Why is Ukraine's occupied by Russia territory is shown, but Georgia's all fine? Abkhazia at least should be Russia with strong claims from Georgia.

Modern Moldova is pretty much impossible to make up in CK2 borders. Olvia is definitely Odessa, Torki and Birlad are definitely part of Romanian!Moldova, and the rest of provinces are major Ukraine land with Moldova mostly having small borders smashed around them. Peresechen is the closest, but still, half of it is actually northern Odessa and eastern Vinnytsia regions of Ukraine. Not sure what's the best decision here would be aside from changing the borders completely.

Kosovo independent but no Northern Cyprus?

Kazakhstan too smal and Tajikistan too big. Samarkand county should be in Uzbekistan, and northern parts of your Uzebkistand are probably Kazakh.
