How do I get Gandalf as the ring hero for Gondor instead of Frodo?

Hi, I am trying out the game and the mod for the first time and I've setup a custom battle where I defend a fort but the AI doesn't attack even though they have battering rams, ladders and catapults. Is there a way I can fix this? Tyia!

I am currently on version 3.260, what's the most recent version that this mod will work on?

I suggest you play The Dagor Dagorath submod. Hella fun and unbalanced. Tbh I play it more than Edain 4.x.x

Just because Peter Jackson made a Trilogy that you didn't like makes him an *******? Why don't you make a movie set in Middle Earth and see how far you go. How about a movie set in Erebor where the easterlings attacked? How would you portray Brand and Dain dying? Would the elves help fight with them whilst defending another territory? Casting the right actors alone would make you insomniac for a month.

What can we expect about the AI on 4.5? I've been analyzing the AI and it seems that they like to double/triple team a single player whether it's me or another AI on my team. Can the AI not double team or Switch targets after a long period of gameplay? It's frustrating tbh because I'm on my base defending against 3 brutal AI's while my 2 brutal allies siege their bases and they're not even retaliating my allies attacks. Sometimes the enemy AI would attack my AI ally while I on the other hand is expanding my economy and after I've gathered enough resources, I would defend my AI ally's base, and it's kinda repetitive.

Also, when the AI gets the ring they just sit in their base waiting for us to take it from them, but what I do is I bait them out and kill them fast or else they'll go back to their base again.

Hey guys how do you play from an external hard drive? I tried The Battle for Middle Earth 2 and it worked but when I tried Rise of the Witch King it says "Base Game not found". Also how do I find the "My Battle for Middle Earth Files" folder from an external hard drive? I have a feeling that Mordor's gonna be op with the new ring mechanic because the necromancer can just teleport right into the ring when gollum drops it, unless the team removes that skill.

Hey guys can you give me some tips on how to defeat Iron Hills as Lothlorien? I just had a Multiplayer match and my enemy rekt me when he got those tower shields, I used ents but his crossbowmen with the formation countered it. I used beornings but he hit and run me with the rams. I bought a buttload of Mirkwood Swordsmen using them as a tank so my archers with silverthorn arrows kill his units but to no avail, their heavy armor and tankiness rekt me so hard

I noticed that the AI only attacks one player in the whole game for example, 1 2 3 4 only attacks 5 and 5 6 7 8 only attacks 1. Can that be changed? So that 1 will attack 5, 2 will attack 6 and so on.

Is it possible to move denethor to every camp/castle you have in the map? For example, I want to move him in my camp/castle near the enemy base so I could use the palantir and see what he is doing. Maybe a tunnel system would work exclusively for denethor much like karsh so that he could be useful whether early game or late game. Or maybe increase the radius of his palantir sight every time he levels up.

The Path of the Edain is so hard. Most of my allies die so fast from the goblins. I've tried all of the classes but none of them survived. The Wizard submod hero doesn't work by the way, I can't auto attack any enemy in the map but my skills damages them

The Gondor soldier pikemen from BOTTA mod would suit them really well

One thing I noticed on Brutal AI's is that they send all their heroes in the early game and never recruit them again in the late game. The only faction that's consistent is Mordor. Angmar Carn Dum pikemen needs to be nerfed so hard heck even towers get damaged by their passive lol

Holy moly the AI in this version is freaking nuts. Brutal Isengard is so fking op late game with their Uruk captains and heavy armor. The AI enemy heroes also use their powers which is really a challenge, feels like I'm fighting a human player rather than an AI. Definitely a better AI than version 4.2.1
