Hello everyone, today we released a new patch for Goldsphere: Completion, which fixes a bunch of translation-related issues, as well as one non-translation related issue. The next patch will likely be focusing on introducing subtitles where they are required, fixing whatever translation issues are left, and over all finalizing the translation project. Patch 1.3 for Goldsphere OGSR will also be coming soon, so keep on the lookout for that.

Once you have the files downloaded, move them into a folder outside your original Goldsphere installation and apply the Goldsphere OGSR - English Translation, Ver. 1.2 patch. Hope this helps.

!!!MESSAGE FROM THE DEVS - SOME RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THOSE WHO ENCOUNTER TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!!!

"1) If your settings and saves are not being saved, run the game as administrator.

This happens because you installed the mod in the Program Files system folder, and it basically prevents the game from rewriting/creating files (saves, settings). We recommend installing the mod outside of system folders.

2) If your antivirus gives you trouble with the installer, then temporarily disable your AV or add the .EXE as an exclusion. There are no viruses/malware in the mod.

3) We are aware of players' complaints regarding the font size in dialogs at some resolution settings, and will definitely consider resolving this issue.

4) If you encounter memory-related crashes (mainly on old or weak computers), increase your pagefile.sys to at least 8 gigabytes.

5) If you get OpenAL: Can't create sound device as an error, then you need to install OpenAL. It is included in the mod installer, you just have to check the box.

6) Screen resolutions 4:3 and 21:9 are currently not officially supported by us.

Try downloading the new patch now, should fix it. Make sure to overwrite the files when it asks you to.

Patch 4 is out. Should fix some problems. It also includes an update to the translation.

Known bug, we're trying to fix it.

We use the 3.5.2 unofficial patch for added stability and bug fixes, so yes.

New hotfix released!

New hotfix will be released in a few hours that addresses some crashes and text issues. Reminder to check out the C-Consciousness discord server if you encounter any of those yourself!

The download for the Goldsphere repack with the translation will be available on the Moddb page today!

Little update, guys: Somewhere in November we are likely going to release a beta version of the Goldsphere translation. After that patches will be slowly coming out with whatever final revisions we make.

Our first revision is almost done, what's left after that is the final revision done by experienced English revisers to make sure everything's good as it can be. Texture files have also been translated and are complete. Looking forward to possibly releasing it by the end of the year, or at least a beta version. :)

It's still going, although slowly. Not sure if I can give you any sort of estimate. Thanks for asking, though. :)
