True Stalker is a total conversion mod based on an improved version of the Call of Pripyat engine and developed by the team behind the modding website AP-PRO!
True Stalker offers players to experience a completely original, lengthy storyline through the eyes of an ordinary stalker named Axe. Although Axe has been in the Zone multiple times before, he never dared to venture past the Cordon due to fearing of what's beyond it... But realizing that life outside of the Zone has long lost its meaning to him, he decides that time has come to finally start heading deeper into the Zone... And that's when the game starts off.
Main mod features:
- A completely original storyline which takes place after the events of Call of Pripyat, but has its own stories to tell and a set of new characters. Quests are also accompanied by cut scenes, character voice-overs, and in some cases different paths that the player can take. Having no specific focus for the quests, players will have to travel, search, participate in shootouts, encounter mystical events, and come face to face with various creatures inhabiting the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
- 13 in-game locations: some original and others being well-known locations from the STALKER trilogy that have undergone quite significant changes.
- Completely new UI and HUD from CORRYZERON. This includes the inventory system, in-game encyclopedia, equipment upgrade system and more.
- A complete game soundtrack composed by Anger Of Darkness, with more than 50 new compositions. Background ambient music has been remade as well and is inspired by MoozE's work for Shadow of Chernobyl.
- Updated graphics with various weather cycles made in a summer style.
- New NPC models made in the spirit of the original STALKER trilogy.
- Gunslinger weapons pack; modified to suit the needs of the True Stalker project. - Improved engine based on the OpenXRay platform. - Official English and Ukrainian localizations, available as a setting in the settings menu. edit: found a workaround. use gdrive, select all the files with your mouse and select download. gdrive is gonna compress the files and will allow you to download anyway.

I'm on a german system and after starting + closing the game I cannot type Umlauts (ÄÖÜ) anymore and I have to restart my system...
Das Game wechselt das Tastaturlayout bei mir automatisch zu Englisch. Sieht man unten rechts bei der Taskleiste im Normalfall. Wenn du Shift+ALT drückst, solltest du zu DE Format zurück wechseln können, sobald du das Game wieder beendet hast ;)

Hey, just started so far feels great, loving the new Cordon buildings and feel. I do have an issue with radiation on the first couple anomaly quests for Sid. I can't seem to sell the first locations artifacts or place in stash/containers and the constant radiation is draining my supplies. Is that intended?
EDIT: nvm I just had too much rads and thought in backpack was causing it to increase

I can't download the installer .exe file through any download links. My antivirus automatically deletes it and says it's a virus and I can't restore it. What do I do?
I got a virus alert from the exe and other file, hours after microsoft send me a message with an unauthorized access on my mail so be care with this
!!!MESSAGE FROM THE DEVS - SOME RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THOSE WHO ENCOUNTER TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!!!
"1) If your settings and saves are not being saved, run the game as administrator.
This happens because you installed the mod in the Program Files system folder, and it basically prevents the game from rewriting/creating files (saves, settings). We recommend installing the mod outside of system folders.
2) If your antivirus gives you trouble with the installer, then temporarily disable your AV or add the .EXE as an exclusion. There are no viruses/malware in the mod.
3) We are aware of players' complaints regarding the font size in dialogs at some resolution settings, and will definitely consider resolving this issue.
4) If you encounter memory-related crashes (mainly on old or weak computers), increase your pagefile.sys to at least 8 gigabytes.
5) If you get OpenAL: Can't create sound device as an error, then you need to install OpenAL. It is included in the mod installer, you just have to check the box.
6) Screen resolutions 4:3 and 21:9 are currently not officially supported by us.
Please report any bugs to the AP-PRO forum: Ap-pro.ru
This includes translation errors too. We will try to fix the bugs you found in the coming patches."

2 Questions (for the devs) Is it possible to manually config the ultrawide 21:9 in user.ltx or does the game not have one? (Haven't installed it yet)

Whoever is interested, I'm working on a translation to German.
Already 75% of the game are translated, hope i get the chance to release it somehow.
The only problem I facing are the letters ä, ö, ü and ß.
I'm working on revising the English translation. Here are the fixes I have made so far. Right now it's mostly dialogue fixes in early game, subtitles, encyclopedia, names, and more: Drive.google.com

Is there command to noclip in this mod? I found passage that is supposed to be open in bandit base in Dark Valley (back entrence through vindow to avoid guard blocking door) but you can not fit through opening even with "double" crouch.

Did anyone found the electric lantern in the dark valley? I got the radio and the lantern is supposed to be in the same room but i cant find it.
Yeah, same room. its on the bed mattress, has a blue color. Just before you go to the Radio. Very easy to miss.
