I've read in the comments that you won't have any controllable choppers which makes sense, but does that exclude moves like airstrikes where choppers fly in and attack?

As in, are either sides of the air superiority doctrine (or any doctrine) a call in where a heli or two come in and lay down some missiles or mg fire? Just curious :D..

I'd really like to see a Chaffee in CoH -- perhaps, added to the motor pool but only buildable after also having constructed a tank depot. Quick, cheap, and fragile, but with a decent gun..

Or maybe just a doctrine call-in to replace one of the lame ones...

Nope, not using a cracked version, and guess i'll just reinstall (FFFFUUUU)..

upon starting coh (regardless of if it's through vanilla or EF), i am prompted to dl the new patch. it did so once, so it immediately prompts me to exit and install. when i do so, it pops up this error message.

This patch updates CoH version 2.601.0, but you appear to have version UNKNOWN installed already. To download the latest patches, run CoH and log in to Relic Online. (Error code 10244)

so, i didn't know coh itself had released a patch. i started up EF for the first time in a while (just got back from the uk).. and it updated. the game started and it tried to update to the newest patch, but can't (i think because EF already updated and screwed something up...)

I like the units but I was always looking forward to the skins that were posted oh so long ago with the foliage stuck to the armor. You should make it optional since it's already available ;)

Release was dope guys, nice job. I only wish there was a way to set the AI as the royal marines -- there's probably some perfectly reasonable reason as to why they can't, but it would be cool. Also the skins look dope. Now let's get some reward units out while we wait around for the ostheer.

ps. optimistically, the same dumb comments, questions, and suggestions just mean that the fan base is growing and moar people are checkin EF out :D

Guys, chill. They're gonna get something cool out soon. I want the ostheer as much as the next guy, but they're taking their time for a reason.

I'm not the biggest endless wave challenge mode fan, and I wish that dev time went to the actual ostheer as well, but who knows how much they have completed? They'll release when they're ready -- so in the mean time, relax and enjoy the soviets.

This mod is absolutely ridiculous. There are tons of videos on youku showing lots of detail. We need to consolidate all pacific resources and then combine them with EF for the ultimate showdown.

Major Ivan Danko is obviously the Soviet Mascot -- therefore the Eastern front mod/team mascot. I was wondering, will he be challenged for the title by some Ostheer CO when they (the ost) finally start popping their heads up?

ie. is there some epic dude to command the ostheer?

All i said was "i'd buy it.", as in, if it was for sale at a retail store, i'd purchase it -- insinuating in that regard, that the mod is good enough to be sold like a regular CoH expansion.
