He's currently working on Stalker Desolation (basically an eft-like weapon attachment system with his own exe files); he might return to this mod to update it for 1.5.2 or even bundle it into Desolation's next update so it can use 1.5.2 mods.

edit: to get Desolation get it in the discord server, the link is in the moddb page for the out of date one (idhk why it's not been updated tbh)..

How would I go about altering the cut off of a tool's quality after dissembling an item? I have like 5 to 10 swiss knives at 2% (afaik the default quality cutoff) and my sharpening tool to repair them has a cutoff for repairing a tool's quality at 10%

I'm not sure if it's this mod, but seeing as this is the only mod touching guides I have a hunch, but the Zaton Skadovsk guide when traveling to Pripyat Outskirts dumps you in front of x-8 (if it's dark you can run to a truck, the location is near a fence btw) and bound to bee seen by Monolith and/or zombified

It does work in 1.5.1; that said, I don't like the whole long "anomaly zone: _" name, like I know the zone's an anomaly zone, but some zones have like a short sentence for its zone name of like 15+ characters both in the discovery popup and pda name.

like the dead city admin building anomaly zone name doesn't really need "anomaly zone" in its name as a prefix just call it "anomalous admin building" (or something to that effect).

If I remember to reply to this message, I'll give my experience with trying it out on 1.5.1 (using the Desolation engine mod, which is still using 1.5.1 and hasn't been updated to 1.5.2). If I respond to this message, picture something going wrong (compatibility wise); if I don't respond, things either went alright, or I did forget and might've also had compatibility issues.

Have tried earlier last week to install and play, but this installer doesn't seemingly install gmdx, every time I have tried it makes an empty folder (if I point to a folder to install into) and a useless shortcut to a GMDX10 that's supposed to be installed (but doesn't).

Just tried to add an exclusion to Windows Defender, and still nothing

Getting constant extremely low fps when the game decides to compile that "yuvlrgb" shader like 4 times in 5 mins, like lower than at least 15 when near that space bubble anomaly puzzle in garbage (been fine before there, with solid fps in Cordon and southern Garbage, but when near that puzzle (when actually looking at it) my fps crawls and that shader "compiles" like 4 times making the game log say that some signal is slow)

Use MO2, JSGME doesn't really have as much functionality as MO2 does (like flagging a mod/addon as overwriting another mod, as both alter the same file)

This kinda necroing, but if you click the area's tab one pda map, it toggles them visible, was ramming my head in a prior playthrough since the location to fast travel to Sakharov's bunker was in a perfect spot for the area circle to almost be not interactable (unless being pixel perfect and right clicking the last left most pixels on the fast travel icon).

Queston; how to simply reset the ability to rebind it back to tab in MO2? I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (didn't work), installed it and went into the virtual folder and deleted every file (both config files, and both script files) and went about reinstalling the mod from a fresh download (didn't work), reset user.ltx (didn't work).

Stupidly set it to a keypad key and now seemingly gated from this mod, as my laptop doesn't have a keypad.

If you're still wondering, it might have to do with some "demo_record" thing and made the text for it pretty clear (like 1% from it being totally invisible) or some custom mod that they made that bypasses the "demo_record" thing entirely.

I do have like 50+ mods, but they're mostly light stuff. Though there are some mods like that radiation overhaul and Groks BHS works fine.

Also Deso is mostly just an engine fork, to have more gun customization options (like various "tacticool" stuff (lasers, flashlights, sights, red dot sights), longer/shorter barrels, fore-ends with grips that also have slots for lasers and/or flashlights)
