This mod changes the max item use for multiple medical items, drinks and cigarettes to add a bit more realism. The price per use is the same so some items will be more expensive than your used to. Now includes FOMOD and DLTX version for compatibility with most mod packs like Gamma or EFT.
Have you ever wondered why their are only 3 cigarettes in a pack or 2 syringes in a med kit when their are obviously 3 in the container? This mod corrects all those issues, and many more. But I've alters prices to make each use cost near to what they did originally. Please also check out my other mod that also adds animations to almost all the consumable items missing them.

v1 Changed the max use of many pills, cigarettes, vodka and med kits to match with the animations added in Food Drug and Drink Animations. Price was adjusted accordingly so this would not throw off gameplay.
v2 Fixed some pricing mistakes
V3-4 Max use for Vodka is now 8, price has been changed accordingly.
Added DLTX Option for better compatibility. This version is easily customizable, Please use Notepad++ when editing files and remember to save the changes!

Installation- You should install this and any other addon with Mod Organizer 2 as it is the safest way to mod your game and easily find mod conflictions.

For the Compatibility patches if you don't have the addon use manual installation and uncheck that folder, if you do use it and are new to mod organizer. while installing manually click the arrow to the left of the check box on your desired patch and then on the gamedata folder that pops up on top and drag the configs file to the lower gamedata folder.
If your using Gamma and would like sleeping pills to have 5 uses you must delete one file from the mod G.A.M.M.A. Sleep Balance. On Mod Organizer, you can search for a mod with the bar that ways filter. Right click on the mod then click open in explorer. In gamedata open configs folder and delete "mod_system_sleeping_pills.itx"

Yes I actually use that mod also, I added a compatibility patch in the new version with some instructions. just make sure to put this mod after Food & Drug and Famine.

Just tried it out, eat a packet of crisps and you get a can of baked beans as the animation, which quite amusing!
I agree, Having some animation is better than none but when I eat a chocolate bar and pull out a sausage log It always gets me laughing!

I saw that you increased the price in proportion of the quantity. But I also see a problem in economy now, it goes by this:
I'm using a mod called grok's stash overhaul that synergizes with grok's body health system allowing me to find more medical itens in stashs, because you'll need more medical stuff just to heal your limbs. But the problem I see is that you usually find full medkits with two uses, but now with your mod, they have 3 uses which is great, but it can really break the economic if I find a lot of full medkits and sell those.
So something about the fullness of a item when found, is something that I'm trying to understand where is calculated, maybe that need a few tweaks to balance this mod without getting rich in 5 days in the zone LOL
But none other less, great mod!
I see what you mean, groks stash overhaul is only 2 settings files and 2 scripts so I might be able to add a patch for that. Might just have to make medkits only spawn with 1 or 2 uses to correct for that. I can test it out see.
problem is this addon made the anim to other animless foods like MRE obsolete

has this been updated to the latest food drug and drinks animations patch? I also use the food drug and drinks animation missing animations patch, will they conflict?
I've just found out about this update today so ill have to fix a few thing, I seem to have crashes using certain items after this update. so Ill get back to you here when the updates are ready. But yes those two mods have zero conflicts when installed together. I'd use the previous version of food and drug animations if you still have it and want to use my two mods for it, for now.
Just posted a update to my Missing animations mod, this mod Visual accuracy tweaks, wont have to be updated until stalker anomaly come out with a new version, Since it only changes base game files.
Instead of increasing price you could try splitting the original effects of affected items over increased uses. So each use would have lesser effect, but the total effect of one item would stay the same as in vanilla.
Hello, would it be possible to create a variant in this mode only which corrects the animations without modifying the prices of anyone?
This will make it compatible with Escape From Pripyat 3.0

I have strike anywhere matches in my inventory (+ the box) and it doesn't light up any of the brand of cigarette boxes or the single use ones because of this popup. I'm able to light campfires though.
Edit: EFP 3.0. I'm also using ASNEN AND GROK BETTER CIGARETTES ANIMATION (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/asnen-and-grok-better-cigarettes-animation) and this might be the conflict... even with your mod loaded last. Requesting a patch for it since it is pretty great.
I can try to solve the issue and add an patch for it if I get them working together.
Should I be concerned that Arsizis Radiation Overhaul is being overwritten in MO2 by this mod?
Arsizis Radiation Overhaul alters the effects of most items that remove radiation making them Less powerful per use compared to base game. So my mod would make Arsizis easier than they intended. I can add a patch for it in the next update.

It’d be amazing if you could make a patch for arszis radiation or is there any way to DLTXify this I could try to make a patch myself with DLTX even though I’m a absolute newbie .
I'm honestly new to modding also, its hard to find tutorials and I know nothing about DLTX. I did have a patch for Arszis before but he updated so much I couldn't keep up. My mod is only a few files so it should be able to work if I update the old patch.

Invictus's runs are really difficult because of how expensive meds are in the GAMMA economy.
A new DLTX version has been added that works with Gamma and many other mod packs. You'll be able to easily change prices as you want also.
Cant say surely but i found dupe strategy with vodkas where i can craft 8 Putinka's for 5 Nemiroff's and then 8 Nemiroff's for 4 Putinka's. Playing on GAMMA so there's gotta be smth with crafting system i suppose.
You are correct! I'm surprised its been a year since this change and I never crafted vodka, so I didn't notice. Thanks for the heads up, Its balanced now in the new v5 update.
