VERY slowly but yes it is still being worked on.
Yes, and i tried reinstalling as well.
But i've further narrowed down the issue,
It seems to be caused when i enable the "Buildings do quadruple damage" win condition.
I'm doing something wrong but i can't figure out what;
every time i try to apply the patch it breaks the mod in such a way that builders can't build.
these kinds of things are exactly what im talking about,
there's quite a bit i think could be streamlined in this manner

ok cuz what i need to do is clean up my Flyer Runs mechanic by finding a way to only allow flyers to fire weapons IF they ARE moving; that's the only remaining bug with the SCAR me and JL and co. worked on years ago in the Relic Forums days

Anyone know how to make a modifier for a unit that is triggered based on wether or not that unit is in motion?
Either via code or SCAR or both?
Another idea i've been considering is the occasional open DoC chat on Discord. It would be irresponsible of me to state a set schedule but
once 6 or more people have either replied to this and/or pm'd me about it, i'll set up a Discord chat

the gameplay variations between the now over 60 armies
me and Zeidra's current long term plans to both get a skirmish AI oriented version of DoC to the public
continue to work on the original larger multiplayer oriented version that first got me started on this crazy journey...

Thing i dislike about the blogs is i have to wait and sometimes they refuse to post it and give no reason
Name researches, upgrades and addons that should be automatically applied to their relevant army to keep the micro streamlined as well as keep gameplay from getting bogged down by a bunch of upgrades that in the scheme of an entire game will make little difference.
Name the research/upgrade/ability/feature and the army or unit(s) that should have it automatically to cut out tedious micro as well as help emphasize the unit or armies character.
i actually have the tank reverse function coded too but while it "functions properly" in terms of weapons "aiming" and applying damage in the proper direction relative to the position of the weaker rear armour...
visually it LOOKS like a Leman Russ just driving away slowly and firing (animations) in the opposite direction of the enemy (even though damage is dealt properly and in the correct direction)
Regarding Trenches and timeframe vs quality of play cost-benefit analysis:
THEORETICAL: While more time consuming a more visually and strategically appealing form of trench warfare could be implimented by modding the trenches into the maps themselves BUT make them only "unlockable" by armies who specialize in trench warfare. After which point units from any army would be able to use them/fight to gain control of them; and MAYBE even with proper trench bridging, gun nests, the works
PRACTICAL: I'm more confident about being able to create the trench networks, blockhouses, gun nests, even collapsable vehicle bridging...
...than i am in my ability to figure out an army contextual scar that uncovers the trench networks when an trench warfare army chooses to activate them...

yes, for right now im just giving them weaker rear armour; but different resistance to side armour attacks could be created quite easily as well.

So i have this "Reverse gear" coding for tanks...basically just a variant coding of the entrench extension....
....anyone up for editing a Leman Russ or Predator model so it's movement orientation is reversed and the "reverse gear" code can be properly tested?
This would be nice since tanks are coded in such a way that their rear armour is less resistant to damage, not to mention being able to fire with accuracy while simultaneiously retreating or withdrawing...
and i still have all of those voice files for all the armies we talked about.
Also, quick question regarding getting AI armies to make use of map objects during skirmish...will i find what i need for that in the campaign AI code?

In the past there was little to no interest in a "multiplayer only" version of DoC, perhaps i underestimate the chance that this has changed?
So let me know in the replies here wether or not YOU have any interest in a MULTIPLAYER ONLY version of DoC,
particularly if that meant getting a release much sooner?
