I have actually tested the mod in an old notebook laptop running Win 8.1 and can confirm this mod could work, however may encounter resolution issues if you're playing on a small screen as my notebook is connected to a bigger monitor which supports 1080p.

Dedicated servers can't add the bots via the '5' menu. Anyone who has idea on how to use the console commands to do so? Thanks

There might be an off chance the module can be run with Windows 8 or 8.1 but I can't assure as I haven't tested it yet. I used this module as a base for this mod in which the site says it supports Windows 8.1 in some versions. Web.archive.org

Some maps may not be working due to resources exceeding the engine limit. The maps I recommend to play with are listed in the "h" menu in-game. Refer to this website for the default values. Github.com

Also there are random crashes occurring in seldom times and chances are it doubles up if played in multiplayer(or if you have more than 1 human players in game). I recommend having a server/client restart every game.

The article AND the download says clearly that Windows 8 and above version is not supported. First off, why bother downloading, and second Why leave a bad review for being an idiot who downloaded without even reading compatibility issues?

It is possible for me to port the mod if you can provide a clean CS 1.6 with metahook module installed in it and provide me an API for the metahook scripting.

I really liked this custom mission, are there any similar games that anyone can recommend to me? I kinda liked the concept of the mission and would like to play similar games like this custom map

This is standalone. Just close your steam when running the game. VAC is turned off in the mod anyway.

If the crashing persist when using AUG, I suggest reinstalling the game itself.

The game randomly crashes from time to time, in which unfortunately, I am unable to debug. I hope you're enjoying the mod though.

Basically, the installer is a standalone/download-and-play. However, as I said in the disclaimer, I do not recommend playing the game while steam is on as there is a potential ban event to happen(although VAC is turned off as default in the mod). This was explained at one of the comments.

Possible, but I would rather start from scratch and create MW3 mod, but I would need a lot of new people for development. Who knows?
Btw Warface mod uses metahook as module, in contrast to this mod's ACG module. If I can have metahook's coding/development manual, it would be a possibility to port this mod into metahook.

Anyway I would be releasing the source codes for this mod soon, if anyone starts with the project, I would gladly give hints on development.

The mod is not set for online play. The mod works on LAN though.

Known issue. Check FAQ section. There would be an upcoming patch to hotfix this.
