Sounds great, especially since it's going to be the full version they use and have similar licenses available to what the UDK has, which is fairly reasonable for indie developers to use. All of this sounds awesome, I might get in on this CryEngine 3 action.
Ah, yeah I did not know this. I haven't really payed much attention to Unreal. But that's good to know. It may be something I might want to develop on in the future, being that it's cheaper.
An easter egg eh? Already including those? Great!
Looks like a mix between an ogre and an abomination. Pretty damn cool.
Well then, this should definitely be good considering AoC was amazing, especially for a mod. Well that's not entirely true there's plenty of good mods out there, not a lot that are completely different from the game they originated from.
Also, if you're using the Unreal engine and plan on making this a non-free commercial game, you should definitely be careful with what you're doing, because I know that the Unreal engine not being free to make money off of will screw you over badly if you don't get full permission from the creators. And from what I know of the license for developing a commercial game on the Unreal engine costs a good deal of money, too. So be careful with that, if you plan on making it a commercial game, I don't know how professional you guys are in the industry, that is.
Offline version as in like Battlefield; just like regular multiplayer but have AI instead of players, also like Battlefield's co-op, which is the same as what I mentioned but allows for other players to be apart so both AI and player controlled.
Nothing's cooler than a Starcraft Zealot! Nothing! Well except the Dark Templars. But yeah this is still pretty cool.
Are you sure about that? The Spartans are most famous for using their huge shields for offense and defense equally as much as each other. And that is only one example, many people used them as weapons as well as for extra protection.
Those would be the shield that Roman Legionnaires used, I'm guessing is what you're talking about. They're called a scutum by the way.
The mod is still in development and they didn't release it yet.
Speaking of DeNile will the Nile be located in this mod? Just curious since it was brought up.
Really? I had no problem downloading it from here. Is it possible that it requires pop-ups to be allowed or something and you don't have it allowed?
