Hello there!

Wanted to ask, how can i change the Dark Angels colour scheme without making it the generic one? I like the changes you've made and wanted to change its colours, i know that in elite mod there is a text file that allows one to change colour schemes but i can't find something like that in here.

I really like the mod, the only thing that i would say that needs to be changed is the assault marines, but thats because i like them a lot lol.
I understand why they aren't as effective as i wish, balance is important after all.

So, i installed the mod with the installer, followed the instrucctions but when i start the game, i see some models with pink parts or just being a pink square.
What i messed up?

Look, i understand, i also would love to see a game where a tactical squad can cut thru hundres of orks without breaking a sweat, like in the lore, but it is a game, it must be fun for everyone. The mod team has already made it clear that they were making this mod with a balance that resembles vanilla DoW, and if you don't remember, in vanilla astartes fell even more easily than in Unification.
You can do two things, you can stop playing a mod that dosen't seem to satisfy you, or, you can accept that it is both a game and a mod, it can't be lore accurate, it must be balanced for every single unit.

The model looks great, we could have a better screenshot to look better at its detail, but we'll see the SANGUINOR (not sanguinius) better when we can have him on the field of battle

They could even get a super heavy tank, those crazy relics some chapters have. One of their succesors, the Charnel Guard, in the lore has inside their armory a good amount of super heavy tanks. But hey, we will see in the future what they get

Hello guys, i have found that veteran squads for SM aren't affected by the armory upgrades (at least the bionics one as their HP doesn't increase after the upgrades are done). It's a similar situation to what used to happen with the honor guard in the previous version. Don't know if it's intentional or not.

Honetsly, the mod team has outdone itself, the mod proves how much the modders have done for the DoW and 40k community, you have done a lot for an almost 20 years old game, for it's players and the lore of this amazing universe.
From my part i can only say thank you all for your work.

I think wednesday was the earliest possible release date, is still tuesday for me lol, that says a lot about this great mod and game.
I think the most realistic date for realese would be the weekend, but lets us just wait, no need to keep asking the mod team about it, i know there is a lot of hype, but let us be patient friend :)

Hello guys and gals. I have a question for the team, just as a curiosity that came up my mind recently.
Have you guys thought about in which arm is the melee weapon of some units? I was playing DoW 2 and seeing SM units holding their melee weapons on the right arms just feels right, i know that you guys work with DoW 1 and from vanilla, most units had their melee weapon on the left arm. Though the grey knights have their melee weapons on their right arm.
So i wanted to check that out, what is your opinion on the subject.

We stay together, we support the modders, great modders, most of us are polite, we are indeed lucky to have a community like this one

That Plague Marine looks amazing, never liked the 14th legion in lore (except for Nathaniel Garro) or table top, but that model is awesome.

For my fellow fans of this great mod, please heed me. I know we want to play with the new stuff and have fun, but for the sake and time of everyone, just keep that wish to yourself, don't post a rant, coment or obvious questions about when the next version is coming out. I don't think the mod team wants to have to answer the same kind of comments over and over again, some of the fans are tired of seeing those comments (that's why many have negative karma points). Unfortunately, it is a waste of time for the modders, for those who read the comments, for those who posted the original comment (cause is gonna be buried by the negative karma points), so please, just keep waiting in peace.
This comment is not made to attack someone or criticize people, is just a suggestion for all of us fans :)

Hello guys, i had to reset my pc and hard drive and due to it, lost DoW and the mod, i wanted to ask if the new version would be standalone or if it will be a patch? Thanks, you're doing an amazing work and the Emperor aproves

Just stop, stop and get your life together, spending soo much time on something like this and having the constant need to say the same thing over and over again is not good for anyone. Stop, go and do something else to keep you distracted from all of this and get some help

Now i'm really happy for that, i always loved how in Codex mod you could make your melee vets have those kind of super power weapons. Now they are going to be in Unification. I Love it!

Are the vanguard vets going to have access to some heavy melee tools? I mean thunderhammers, poweraxes, stormshields, etc.
