I know it is not big news about the new races but rest assured, huge works are going in the background.
In the meantime, please enjoy a less derpy DE Reaper with a properly made sail(compare it to the public version of the mod as of now).
Eventually, but not for 7.0, the DE will get more updates to look less 4th Ed and more in line with their current mini versions on the Tabletop.
I can imagine the Dark Eldar corsairs singing:
Set sail, and conquer! on a quest to distant lands

I have legit read that with the Warrior voice and fits so well.

or maybe named characters of these orders? Or unique units for these orders?
That's a good question ! It also applies to Ultramarines and Custodes. I'm also curious to see if Abaddon and his Black Legion are planned as a race ?
Alright, so:
- The Ultramarines are confirmed and being developed but after 7.0. They will feature the full Primaris roaster as well.
- The Custodes are planned but will probably be our last race to add.
- The Black Legion technically is Chaos Space Marines as of 6.9. Adding Abaddon is a possibility but not confirmed as of now.
- The Raven Guard, Iron Hands and White Scars are not planned as of now but the Space Marines faction does have Xeril and the Land Raider Anvilarum.

So if I summarize the upcoming races ( Sooner or Later ) :
- Fallen Angels
- Farsight Enclaves
- Vostroyan FirstBorn
- The Night Lords
- The Renegade Guard
- Ultramarines
And the Custodes ^^
praetorians and genestealer cult confirmed as well.
as is admech rework so big as to count it as new race imo.
Just to add upon Oyun's comment, the Praetorians are for the next version (7.0) while the Genestealer Cults for much in the future.

Also, for the record, as I mentioned, the unit is in Unification since version 5.9. It just got updated. Surprised people do not remember it. I guess not many play with the Dark Eldar. :(
