So we can combine American Marines and British troops. Awesome.

In your first post you were all NEED NEED NEED NEED NEED. That is not offering advice, that is demanding. Every time someone makes a mod about a new campaign in an RTS, nationalistic fools start turning up saying that their own country should be in it because this or that. It is the same in the Eastern Front mod for Company of Heroes.

Well, no. The mod will have what the MODDER, the guy MAKING THE MOD, decides it should have. If you want to suggest, suggest, but do not go around saying that the mod NEEDS or SHOULD HAVE.

This mod is done for free, by a fellow gamer. Stop demanding crap like whiny children. If you want to see your own country´s army in the mod, offer some help or make a mod yourselves.

This mod is amazing. It does take up a lot of resources and my PC has some difficulty running it, but it is very good.

The only real complaint I have, is that the enemy seemed really, really well trained. They had very good aim. That, and the bulletproof vests did not seem to protect much.

I had a look at the demo. I certainly enjoyed it, even if it was very simple. I´m really looking forward to the campaign, specially if it has some more complex maps and special zombies and other creatures.

Also, I have path 1.75 and the demo worked just fine.

Not yet, dude. The Eastern Front mod came out about a week ago. Way too early. Not only because of the workload, but because of balance. Eastern Front still does not have a completely balanced Russian gameplay, so it can´t even be started on.

Mack, you need to go to the OMG website (which is online again after a couple of days of not responding). There, you have to create a forum account, and a war account. The War account requires you to fill in some information like your Relic Online profile (which must be the one you want to use when playing OMG, ENTERED EXACTLY THE SAME WAY IT IS IN RELIC ONLINE, capitals and all), and then create your company.

Once you have done that, you go to the "Briefing", where you can join a game. Once it is full, you ready up, start the updater, and enter the Battle ID given in the Briefing screen, under the characteristics of the game (if you enter it before everyone is ready, you will get an error).

After that, CoH will start automatically. Go to Multiplayer, and wait for your game to appear.

You also should get Ventrilo (you can do it from the website) so you can communicate with the other players by speaking into a mic, which lets you coordinate with your teammates during the battles. If you don´t have a mic, get it anyway so you can hear the teammates who do have one.

And to clear up any possible doubts, the mod is still quite alive and you can get games every day (although there are more players at US afternoon/evening time, European late evening and night time).

The current installation is not at all difficult. If you follow the instructions, the installation is done in a couple of minutes (just moving a couple files into your CoH folder and making a shortcut following the instructions is not complicated at all).

I do have a few questions about the mod:

1- Multiplayer? I assume ET44 games appear on the multiplayer list, and I just got unlucky now when I was looking for one?

2- I have little to no way of figuring out the differences between units. Is there any chance of your team putting up a unit guide soon? I just remembered you have something like that on your site, but it is not done yet. With the staggering number of units in the mod, and the difficulty of figuring out which unit is superior to which one...

Ok, so, the theater of operations in this game is the southern coast of Spain... and you have no plans to put Spanish troops in the game?

I only have ONE question.

Book Starship Troopers, or movie Starship Troopers?

You seem to have given a few too many units to the Luftwaffe doctrine, and giving the Jagdtiger to Tank Destroyers doesn´t seem like too good a decision when you could give it to Scorched Earth, for example.

Khorne Berserker as Tank. Slaaneshi Daemonette as Witch (normal woman when seen from afar, then transforms into crab-clawed monstrosity when startled!).

No, at least not yet. It is MP only because it requires people to make companies, then field them piece by piece as the battle goes on. It is difficult to imagine the AI being capable of doing this effectively.

I agree with TheScorpion.

A long time ago, I played "Ignition Factor" and "Fire Heroes" (I believe that was the name) in a SNES emulator. Both were games about firefighters, and both were a blast to play, with you having to navigate buildings aflame and using extinguisers to fight the fire to find trapped people, all in a time limit. PS2 also saw a game like that.

I think a firefighters game with the Source engine would be awesome as you would have to slip through corridors on fire, wear gasmasks, tear doors apart with an axe, and all under a time limit to find victims and get out.

Now imagine all that in multiplayer. Do I need to explain any further?

Looks AWESOME!

That said, will you be adding different classes? Like Scout Troopers and those guys with the black helmets for the Empire, for example.

Also, you definitely need to change the laser-hit effect. Instead of making holes in the walls and create puffs of smoke, it would be better if it made scorch marks and sparks.

Actually, it is true that a good part of Rodimstev´s 13th Guards regiment entered Stalingrad without enough rifles. While I wouldn´t believe the distribution was exactly as in the movie, they certainly had problems to supply the men with enough weapons.

I think you can read this fact as true in Antony Beevor´s "Stalingrad".
