Cold of War: Shattering Fronts mod

OK, with a sad hearted "bit" of writing, I come to you with bad news: the mod is now officially on hold and will not be worked on anymore(until possible further notice, so don't lose hope JUST yet).However, I will be starting work on a new project called 2043: Dark Sky. Do not worry about the name, a new one will be decided upon sometime at some point. Maybe even a small competition for the community. I'm sorry, this is probably not the kind of news you were hoping for. I will be uploading a bunch of images that we had f you want to view them.

2043: Dark Sky
"I remember that day. April 2nd, 2021. My daughter came to wake me up. I din't know how long I slept but it was dark outside. She asked me: "Daddy? Where did the sun go to?". I checked my watch. It was 14:36 in the afternoon. Shocked I ran outside. An inky black sky greeted me. There was barely any light. A strange rumble sounded up from somewhere seemingly deep underground. All the lights went out. In the distance a dark brown-red wave of sorts appeared. A strange glow shining out from it, illuminating everything. Everything it touched seemed to explode. Here we are, 22 years later. And we still don't know what happened. Except that it was bad, very bad!"

The mod is based on Metro 2033 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. A strange event unfolded in 2021, pushing the world into a new dark era. The sun rarely ever showed. Mutants roamed the outside world. Several safe zones were created around cities and areas all around the world. Trade, travel and economies re-emerged in some parts. The outside world however, remained a waste-land. And contact with other continents were rarely established.

The mod takes place in South-Africa. Around a time where the Military decided to create an underground rail system linking the safe zones in the Northern part of the country. They also decide to send expeditionary teams down to the south-west where no sign of human life has been found since the start. Mutant populations have grown considerably large. Posing a serious threat.
