If anybody is still around wondering why the project died off, it's because more and more developers lost contact due to real life business. Also the development structure ended up in a bad shape which left PD:S to die. Read this somewhere couple of months ago still trying to find that topic.
Been digging deeply into the interwebs over the last 7 years and it seems like Codename: Dark is our best bet yet for a fan project. Unfortunately the lack of fans and publicity keeps the development activity slow. Still crossing my fingers and keeping my hopes up for someone to blow my mind with a fan project or a new mod like GE:S.

Tierd of hax0rz on MW2? Tierd of ******, ****** matchmaking? then go to Alteriw.net They have made dedicated servers available for MW2 to fix the mess IW broke. You can play mods, less cheaters and so on... On the recent update they've made a server list available on mw2. search for it on youtube.

Bad mapping and modding is one thing, but when you're criticizing your own mod by saying it's the "BEST AND GREATEST MOD EVER MADE ZOMG!!!" the community are going to hate you. You should do something about it or you just have to live with the hatestorm.
USEFUL TIP ONLY FOR YOU!
1. Remove this line from the news: "BooM: Return to Huknenn is a prequel of the most famous and greatest BooM - the Half-Life modification."
2. Delete your previous mods from MODDB! The first one is just retarded and the screenshots from Boom 2 sucks. (or at least delete the NEWS!)
3. LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY!!! Take their advise and FOLLOW it!
