You don't see a remaster of mods you've played about 20 years ago very often, so I was very excited when ESCAPE 2.0 was announced.

After having played it to the end, the sheer amount of work that was put into it really blew me away. This is not a simple repack of the old mods, but a well built and high quality mod with lots of interaction and scripted sequences. Also it's quite challenging considering the choice of weapons.

Hope to see another sequel or follow-up ;-)

A very different take on Black Mesa (at least from the art design), which is refreshing and quite fun to play. Here and there it was not clear to me what I should do, so some hints would be great.
Still a very enjoyable experience and some nice references to the movie '2001' which is obvious given the super computer.
Some of the maps could use a little bit more polish (mis-alinged textures), but still it's nothing serious. Give it a try have fun :)

A wonderful Half-Life modification with very datailed and flawless mapping, lighting and texture work. Great amount of custom content.
It features nice puzzles and sometimes you have think outside of the box, which I think is great. I won't spoil anything, just play it - this mod needs more attention!

I was never so afraid while playing a GoldSrc mod - what a mod!
The creeping atmosphere and the overall look of eXperiment almost made me think I'm playing a standalone indie horror game. The mapping is excellent with great use of detail textures and prop models. Also the mod feature custom weapons as well as custom enemies/npcs. Overall really top-notch.
In few places it was not clear to me where I should go next and some fights seemed unfair even while playing on 'easy'. Still I had a great time playing it and can higly recommend it.

PS: You owe me new F6/F7 keys :)

It's a fun short mod with a different take on Black Mesa. Very creative ideas and great scripting. Glad it finally has English voice acting.

Wow, what a ride. Field Intensity is a top notch mod which feels like an official expansion pack to Half-Life. It has so many references to the offical addons as well as tons of unique new things like the squad system (something I've always missed in OpFor). Took me quite some time to finish it, but I enjoyed every minute. Thanks a lot, especially for the scaled hud - now I can finally aim in 4k :)

A wonderful campaign with a very intense atmosphere and great content. This is really one of the top-notch mods / total conversions for Half-Life. Well designed, lots of custom content, good choice of weapons and an original story.
Also you have an NPC that you meet several times, which is really nice and adds to the story.
Since Xen is mentioned in the features of the mod: Yes it is kind of similar to the Xen levels in Blue Shift, however Xen never looked better in Goldsrc.
I really enjoyed the whole campaign and can recommend it.

Great mapping combined with wonderful scary atmosphere. Really well done and enjoyable - the last part offered some crazy ideas ;-)
Have to agree that some textures look out of place, but honestly it does not bother me. Play it, it's worth your time!

Ok, I'll be honest: I was about to rage-quit in the beginning. It's very dark and some of the jumps turned out to be somewhat tricky. If you disliked the original Xen, you will probably not like the beginning. But I continued anyway and got to play a very enjoyable and creative (short) campaign. Considering this was only done by one person, I'm really impressed by the scripts in this considering all the random events and connected puzzles. Only finished my first playthrough and will probably play it again to seek another ending. Very well done!

A wonderful addition to the Half-Life universe. Plenty of new ideas within our beloved research facility with a great variety of content. Nicely done, from level design over scripted seqeuences and the overall very cinematic presentation. In some moments it is hard to believe this is the old GoldSrc engine. Thanks a lot for this great mod!
