Just a question. Wasn't the sacking of Menegroth done by the Dwarves of Nogrod? Belegost was ever a friend to the Elves

It looks great. Really well done models.
With the release of this we also see the passing of Sir Ian Holme. Sir Ian Holme, for those that don't know, was the actor of Bilbo Baggins in the LOTR trilogy. He passed away at the age of 88. May his soul find the White Shores of Valinor.
Had that a moment ago as well. What I found is that instead trying to install to a specific mod folder I had to install to the steamapps/common folder as a whole and let the installer path from there itself. Not sure if this'll help you but mines got past that point now.
Hey all. Been a while since I've been back to this mod page, but I still fervently play this mod to TATW with probably next to 200-300 hours minimum exclusively on this mod. Now I'm sure that there have been discussions on fixes and such, because there were quite a few things up in the air when I initially downloaded this mod over 2 years ago.
Firstly: has the accumulating wealth issue been solved? In my many play throughs I have only had 1 isolated instance where my funds accumulated clearly over 40000 but still capped itself around 80000.
Secondly: has the House Of Beor's elite infantry unit "Swan Knights" been changed to either "Dunedain Knights" or DACs "Arthedain Knights". If you're wondering how to get a good play through with House Of Beor try relocating them to Eriador and befriending the Dwarves and Gwaithrim. By the time you get there the Ents Alaime (I think its Alaime. It's where the Shire Longbottom and such have been made into one region) should have rebelled so make it your capital and then besiege Amon Sul to get a fortress. Slowly expand, diplomatically play the Dor Gorgoroth faction then push them back.
It's good to see that there is still life in this mod. I've always thought highly of it and enjoyed playing it these last 2 years.
I actually agree. A lot of the Third Age Easterlings attire looks like it arises from the fact that the tribes of the east contend with very dry arid conditions, whereas Eriador and Beleriand don't seem to have the same environments. Perhaps keep the armour but maybe not the faces wrapped in cloth and sorts?
The rights were never sold to Peter Jackson or anyone for that matter for the first or second age of Middle Earth. However if they were, they'd probably be in the best movie making hands of our time. True he extended the Hobbit over 3 movies, but that book was a big Mf and had heaps of content. And LoTR was a masterpiece.
Sorry, another question. I know a lot of these units are region specific such as the various Elvish houses, but will that make them region locked or will you have to own the region to build them anywhere?
Ah ok that's good. It was always frustrating when you'd come to a big battle where the outcome of the battle would determine your success in the war and it'd crash every time you'd try to manually take the helm. I assume you've also played the only other working First Age Total War for METW2:K?
I know in previous attempts with First Age battle implementation that having beasts often crashed the game which was a shame but made sense when you had a unit of 20 dragons flying around. Have you guys had a look yet into making that part a little more stable in your version? Or will that come with Alpha testing?
