The First Age of the Sun and Moon is perhaps the most eventful timeline within the works of JRR Tolkien. It is steeped in theological and philosophical themes, while retaining the epic scale that most are accustomed to when they think of Tolkien. Our hope is to recreate, as accurately as possible, the words and ideas of the author into the Total War universe. As there is yet to be any concrete display of what we believe to be the greatest and most thought-provoking age within the world of Arda, here is to you Silmarillion: Total War.
Behold the Doriath LC! The Guardsmen of the Tir-en-Laisdannen (Guard of Fallen Leaves) were formed in the aftermath of the sack of Doriath by the Dwarves of Belegost and later again by the Sons of Feanor and they are so called in mourning for their fallen lord and kin. These Sindar refugees were filled with bitterness against the Noldor and the Naugrim who slew their leaders, ravaged their homeland, and put an end to the prosperity of the Grey Elves. The elite warriors of this regiment specialize in bringing down armored foes and dispose of enchanted armor piercing axes which can pierce the thickest armor and fell the mightiest enemies.
Very nice
Love the use of the Hobbit movies' Woodland Realm soldiers to backwards-create its predecessor. Well done.
Just a question. Wasn't the sacking of Menegroth done by the Dwarves of Nogrod? Belegost was ever a friend to the Elves
