I'm stuck. I got the keycard and it said on the handheld from the downed soldier(Parachute above him on the cliffside) under the parachute to find the radio. The only radio I see is in a locked room which won't open. I got the keycard already.

It's funny, every time I opt into the Steampipe beta it never saves. When I go back to check the beta status it shows me as being opted out, or any time I reload Steam. Looking into it now.

Still won't launch. I'll troubleshoot some more. Thanks again!

This won't launch. I can't seem to figure out why. It's in the list, but clicking play does nothing.

I haven't followed Steam or Valve for a few months. I can't find much info about Steampipe. Is there something I am supposed to download? I can't find much on the net.

The game shows in the games library, but when I click to start a new game it doesn't launch. I checked my Steam client and it's up to date. Unless I am missing something?

Gordon Freeman must be really short. He's only eye level with the locks on all the doors. o.O

One great thing you can also do it carry health packs to the next load or map, etc. Altho there is enough health everywhere anyway.

Also, something funny, I killed a headcrab by throwing a dead head crab at it a few times. Haha...

I feel bad killing vortigaunts now that I have gotten to know them in HL2. :(

I agree on pretty much all of the points. It was quite easy and I thought it was going to be much longer considering the size of the file. I know that isn't always an indicator, but usually if the files are compiled in the usual manner, size does equal duration of gameplay.

I still think it was a great mod in general and worth a playthrough.

Hmmmm... I would say try running it in compatibility mode. Can't hurt to try all your options.

Yea cuz adding new models is so much harder then every other aspect of mod development. /sarcasm

Not sure if this will help or not, but if you are using Vista or Win7, try right clicking on the exe and selecting "Run as Administrator". Keep us posted.

Also, this is for Episode 2, so you need that also.

I meant to say it triggered the first time but no other times if loaded a save before it.

I gave this a 9/10. Amazing game, there are some nice areas where the atmosphere is amazing. Combat is balanced and there is a nice mix of enemies.

There was a problem with an event that wouldn't trigger.

However when I got killed and had to start at a save before that event, it wouldn't trigger again. I went back several saves, and still no go. I ended up having to noclip thru to keep going.

Other then that, it would have been a ten. This is now one of my personal favorites. I didn't feel like this was just another mod. Everything felt fresh and new. I had such a good time playing this.
