The file that control of all the setting for age of empire 3 is located at C:/ drives, so sometimes it has issue like this due to newer windows didnt give permission to update / change file (and the the fact the game launched before this windows version, it didnt recognize the new feature)

1. Try to run the game 'as administrator', give the game privilage of administrator, then change it normally,

2 . If nothing happen, then go to
"C:/users/username/my documents/my games/age of empire 3/users/"
Then open with notepad whichever ur profile name is

Find <Setting Name="optiongrfxres">
Then change the current resolution to whichever resolution of your choice
(Example : change
<Setting Name="optiongrfxres">1080 x 720</Setting>

Into

<Setting Name="optiongrfxres">1366 x 768</Setting>

Then save, and voila, your resolution has changed (this can also used to change other graphical setting like shader and texture, etc.)

Note : pls backup the original file 1st tho, in case something wrong.

There is 3 "users" folder, each one connected to different expansion, users is for vanilla aoe3, users2 is warchief, users3 is for asian dynasty, make sure you didnt choose wrong profile :p

yes, i have the problem too, though i ended up completely deinstall the game then install the zero hour, and make a copy for it, one fore ROTR and other for shockwave XD

sorry for noobs question, but

at the launcher i see 11 people online,
then i go to multiplayer
then Network/SWR.net

but then i going to LAN lobby,
how to play with fellow fans?

As far as I've been testing, tree and civilian unit doesnt affect much of your game, i've tried putting lot of trees in a map with reasonable unit, and no matter how much i put it, it doesnt affect the game much (made the map in world builder, then play it)

then when i do produce more unit, to the point of freeze, then nuke the abnormally dense forest with nuke, the unit still freeze, its kinda same with civilian, although nuking a civilian building cluster helps reduce a bit, IF you REMOVE the civilian building debris that still lingering after its destroyed.
My judgement is that what counted was the complexity, like the polycount or skeleton/moving-able part of an object (i dunno how to properly name it), and trees wast too simple, compared to unit, so destroying even many trees its doesnt effetc much, bcause its basicly jutst like destroying very few unit, which against GLA is useless, as they will quickly refill the quota to limit.

the best way to fix the freeze was, to nuke Your own cluster of unit, or Enemy's. when i play with friend, and reach the freezing point, usually we all agree to just nuke our own forces altogether lol

kinda ironic that this great mod was "interupted by stupid unwanted war" considering the mod itself was about war :p

did you played as USA? if yes, it might caused by some bug regarding the veteran company general power+chemical suit upgrade. soon be patched.
the current best fix is dont pick the veteran company power

yes but what does it mean?
i'm not a polish... i have no idea mate -_-

somehow i can played it. when i open the launcher, the right top corner will says "verifying"
then it comes up as "0" (as opposed of 480)
then when i play it started the vanilla zero hour

what should i do?

it's based on another cnc games, and the original games has unit exactly like this

i can't start the game, i have general, zero hour 1.04, rise of the red 1.7, then this one installed but after the launcher show up there is pop some "technical dificulties" window, i've tried the rotr repair button but it still crashes the same like before --...

does anyone has any idea?
