It looks very beefy for an arty unit. Beefy, as in can take a few RPGs beefy.

Not sure if I am the only one, but NPC gunfire are hilariously quiet with this mod. In fact, I have to rely on shouting, tracers and hit-markers to figure out where people are shooting from.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Other than this small annoyance, the new animations are awesome.
Ok. Mucked about in game more. Not just quiet; gunshots does not travel very far. I have to rely on hit-markers and shouting to locate enemies. They weren't even using suppressors...
Really bad when you have people firing SVDs at you.
Huh. Anyone recommend a good gun sound mod? The one that comes with the new animations is hilariously quiet.
Mod is very nice BTW.
I am aware, hence I think the design is a bit silly. Some many moving parts to break down...
The arty cruiser is considering the fact that the BDs bad at point targets. Probably will have no problem hitting titians and stations though...
As cool as they look, Battle Dragons have got to be one of the silliest designs in Star Wars.
Perhaps it will be an artillery cruiser?!
Ah. Yes. That's probably why. Load order with fix it?
Hooray! It's out!
BTW, the "infinite" research mod sadly overrides the warlord's exclusive System Redesign upgrades. Was that intended? Because in retrospect, letting them have both AND their research bonus will make them gloriously overpowered.
Nothing is more hilarious than seeing a decked-up Night Hammer beat the crap out of fleet after fleet.
That readme entry makes sense now. Cheers.
So is the infinite research minimod out? I can find it in gamedata, but not in mods?!
Eeeeek. Now HTS Ogrov spam is even more terrifying...
I think it's because the mod changes the UI?!
Otherwise, it works fine
VIR phase missiles + expanded research= pure pwnage. Just rush the Advent/Rebels and take advantage of their rubbish hulls.
And lore-wise, badly designed. No back-up bridges in a massive warship? Da fuq?
What a beast!
BTW, do the advanced strike-craft all have the same antimatter cost?
So... from my understanding, A-wings and Interceptors are merely improved fighters, while Defenders and possible E-wings are all-purpose?!
Just so you know, Rakatan Star Map artifact is still bugged.
Just booted up the game. Yes, both TEC and Vasari have an extra squad now.
Oh, also vanilla carriers have one more squad now...?
Anyone else notice that?
I like the new militia. While obviously no match for principle fleets, they keep you on your toes, as can make short work of poorly defended worlds. The performance tweaks is quite noticeable on my crappy laptop as well.
I guess the modded militia will be a bigger effect on early expansion, considering how hilariously tough the Dreadnought cruiser is...
Expanded research mod doesn't work with the new Interregnum yet.
Found a bug. The Rakatan Star Map artifact actually decreases gravity tolerance instead. Ships have travel further out to jump.
Not exactly embarrassing. Many of these dudes in RL probably have been shooting since they can walk and know how to conserve ammo. So not surprising if they are deadly shots.
It is logical that the GLA will have elite troops to compliment the stereotypical 'freedom fighter' rabble.
Nice!
So does it act as a glass cannon? I mean, the AMX 10 RC packs mean firepower for a recon vehicle.
Hm... does the tank gen crawler have tougher armour and less troop capacity?
Because Khan is badass?
Also, I'm guessing that this beast eats aircraft for snacks.
Damnit! Why doesn't anyone try mounting guns on this thing! The amount of firepower and armour they can pile into this thing must be substantial! Never mind unrealistic!
Because fictional advanced gunship is moar cool that the good old Ka-52...
Heck, its pretty much the same old signature Kamov design.
Also, is the cannon DPS the same despite of twice the dakka?
