I call it Sven Co-op, but I've heard a lot of people say Sven coop(as in chicken coop).

No, just on hiatus until I can get help.
That would be the lighting of the area.
Unfortunately that would not work. I do not have access to the SMOD source code, thus I cannot add monster entities. I was instead converting HL:S models to work on the existing entities, but I need help with this.
Please make that at least slightly understandable. You "won" what? SMOD? HL:Source? Regular old Half-Life?
Because you can't just make one file that does that. You have to edit many, many files. It's so many, that the Sven Coop team even decided not to bother with it, and went with asking VALVe to do it instead.
No. There are two singleplayer options. HL Storyline w/ GO-Mod, and normal GO-Mod mode.
Sven Coop had sent an email, and got a response(being a VALVe supported mod), they said they would eventually, but not any time soon.
Well, there is an alternative, but it requires massive changing of the GoldSrc code, and I mean massive. They had discussed it for Sven Coop, but doing so was such a massive undertaking they decided against it.
It wouldn't be multiplayer, as I am not skilled enough to do that. Porting decay would require a lot of work.
The menu is the default SMOD one(with the Redux options) and I will be leaving it so.
I am using EntSpy to fix the maps.
It will have HL:S weapons, I just haven't put them in yet. It will also include most of the default SMOD weapons(those that aren't replaced).
Oh, I also forgot to mention they did it for people who like nostalgia as well.
Actually, with very little editing.
It is not a simple conversion of hl2 SMOD to HLS, it' s the other way around. And I'm doing more than conversion, if you bothered to read my other responses.
I am doing more. Also I'm not just placing alien grunts, the alien grunt is just the first one I've gotten to work. What I am doing is editing the maps to fix all the broken and missing entities, as well as the aforementioned making of custom models for NPCs. I will also be adding things with mapadds, so you can choose to have extra content by enabling/disabling mapadd files. I guess you could call this more of a mini-mod, like the SMOD: Episode 1 mini-mod on the SMOD: Tactical/Redux forums.
Your comment, to me, is more of a feedback than a flame, unlike the post below.
Feedback, not flaming, please.
I do have HL:S, this is making HL:S work with SMOD. As for retexturing, well I'm not much of an artist. I will be using HD content later on, but for now I'm just trying to get an edited model to work.
The money is optional, as I said it is part of SMOD, a mod I didn't make. This is a mod of SMOD. The money limits how much you can use the health and armor chargers, effectively turning them into vending machines.
One little problem. The alien grunts had the armor surgically attached. So if it was removed, there should be scars.
No, it is a mod of SMOD, a highly customizable mod of Half-Life 2.
Thanks for noticing that, I hadn't. Changed to the HL2 section.
I have an issue in that it crashes as soon as I try loading any of the missions, whether it is campaign mode or not. I've reinstalled three twice, first install wasn't on top of normal SMOD, second install was(I made sure I got a pre-40a version just to be safe), and third time it wasn't on top of normal SMOD either. All the same, as soon as the loading bar on a map finished it would crash.
That's because of how the Source engine version they used in that screenshot did not have true dynamic lighting, instead, prior Orange Box, and partly still in Orange Box, all shadows cast by parts of the map itself do not cast onto objects, and becomes a filter rendered on top of other parts of the map. As soon as an object immersed itself entirely in a shadow it became as dark as the shadow, and that houndeye isn't fully immersed, so it remains the same as it was.
Wow, that was big.
That's because its face isn't to the same proportion to the head as it was in the original.
I hope the release one will be bulkier like the original. These things were engineered on Xen to be soldiers after all.
