i think the confusion came from me thinking it was a script converter for the original files, so that was what i was missing there.
ill go ahead and try it out. I wasnt having much luck last night, but ill follow your instructions and see what i come up with. thanks for taking the time to explain that and support the mod (which is always the part i freakin suck at when i release a mod hahaha)

hey man, so ive tried updating with this mod, and its still giving me errors and crashes on load.
when the converter is installed with JUST anomaly mags it says "uninstall whatever mag mod youre using" so i do and then load again (with your mod installed) it says the same error as if its not making changes to the save

not really sure how the converter works.
ive been running it installed, then anomaly mags (original) installed. but the converter doesnt really seem to work.
is the correct load order (using JSGME) converter mod, anomaly mags original?
if not, what is the correct load order? (may want to add it to the readme just in case there is confusion in the future)

My main concern is getting the guns in the game. Is that something you’ll be able to do after I convert the textures and all that ****?

I can convert for fallout 4 so I don’t think it would be too hard to find what format is best for stalker. Just gotta mess with it. Since you’re the “get it in the game” expert maybe we can team up. Shoot me a PM.
Hey man. I have a ton of weapon models from fallout 4 mods and tarkov. I know how to convert them to other games and all that good stuff. Would love to have more m4s in this mod.
If you’re interested in walking me through how to convert weapons the way you did I’d be willing to help do something of them for your mod. 3-4 more M4 variants would be amazing.

anyone thinking of installing this...beware that it will introduce more frequent crashes into your game (if youre cool with that, thats you) and uninstalling it will require you revert back to another save (or you can remove associated scripts, remove all mags from inventory and then leave the area for a long while. Only returning once the mags have despawned). its brutal. mod dev should definitely mention this in the description.

EDIT: I just wanted to come back and say that i apologize for calling this a piece of ****. i definitely wouldn't have been able to make it and previous versions were great. hunk of **** is too harsh. it undeniably needs work so its not messing up games, but yeah...calling your mod a hunk of **** is uncalled for haha.

no. stop asking if mods are available for console when that specific console doesnt allow additional assets to be added to the game.
make one yourself and see how much much script lag you get, problem solved.

im not entirely sure how their sounds are setup...but you are more than welcome to try, just give me credit.

Hey man. If the shell sound is annoying or (understandable) download my version of the mod (in the description) and add the no shell sound files. Easy peezy. Should clean that up for you.
I’ve been thinking of switching the shells to a more subtle shell sound because that can get distracting at times.

Have you tried changing load orders or anything? Because the sounds do get pretty loud but I’ve never had that problem where the close sounds are louder than my own gun.
Maybe try loading sound restoration after? Maybe that would take care of it.
