If he were to do that you could just play as a hero the entire game though. It'd remove the hero cooldown.

According to the description of the mod, yes. Along with Space maps, hero assault, and a few new custom modes
Holy ****. I was actually thinking "shame there's no infiltrators but whatever. Those actually getting implemented might be to much to ask from a modder." Forgot the modder was you.
How will they work? Are they basically another unit for the CIS/Republic or do you earn them like heroes? Do they replace enforcers on certain maps?
If you're looking for suggestions for updates, I always thought it'd be cool if the game remembered the settings you put in for instant action in regards to stuff like points required for a hero to spawn and number of bots per team. So basically you'd change the settings once and whenever you reopened the game it'd remember your settings. Don't know if this is possible or if something hardcoded into the game prevents it from remembering those settings but just a suggestion.
Might want to get in contact with that guy who's making the Assault on Theed map. He's planning on making like 9 Battlefront 2 EA maps from scratch. Guys name is lorl1 or something.
Hey where you planning on using the Battlefront 1035 sides? I only ask because both your mod and that one are trying to emulate Battlefront 2017.
Hey Harrison. Just a little idea that popped into my head. You know how you can edit the loading screen for custom maps? It'd be super cool if the rezzed and realistic maps had loading screens of screenshots of the maps with the rezzed update on.
Don't know exactly what he uses but i'm like 90% sure it's using the "swbattlefrontiimodtools".

Get this is old but I agree. Fact is as of around early 2017 good sides are a must for maps. The default sides have just reached a point where they aren't that fun anymore.
Hey Lorul. Little message from a fan. I know a big part of why you're making this mod is because you want BF2 (Ea) maps to have more units but would you please consider making an optional version of this map (and possibly future versions of other maps) where the number of spawned units is either roughly cut in half or customizable in the default in game options? That way if people want a less hectic version of a map they could download one that only has say 32 units per side. If it's really hard to make two versions I understand however creating a second version of Assault on Theed and other maps would be great for people who want a less chaotic experience or have weaker computers. Thanks for considering.

Well if I were to choose one i'd argue Jabba's Palace. All your maps have been really open which is nice but rezzing a close courters map would be a fresh idea. Also, unlike small maps like Tantive-Iv, there's a lot more texture variety in Jabba's Palace so you could be more creative there.
Could you give us a hint on your next rezzed map? Assuming your "next map" isn't polishing released work.
Noticed there is a building in front of the empires first CP (the one shown in the video) it is west on the map. The stair texture flickers a bit. That's the only thing I've noticed that isn't perfect so just wanted to point it out if you wanted feedback.
Also, OMG. This is probably your best work yet. It's absolutely stunning visually.
I'd focus on debree more than purely aesthetic things like leaves.
how do you do this if you have a steam version?
I've looked around as well. These are the only mods that rez maps unless you want to count a naboo rez that just changes the skybox to day time.
I'm actually making a map now and am having the same model limit.

I don't know anything about modding this game but a suggestion that I've found works on other games is just making everything you have one model and then restarting the map starting with that model so your object count is at 1 again. No idea if that'd work/be possible with Battlefront though.
Thanks. It was actually just me being stupid. I had chrome open while playing. I exited out of chrome and my fps shot up by 10. Had no idea chrome had that big of an impact on my computer lol.
Hey. Is there a version where there aren't as many units?
My computer isn't the best and I experience massive fps drops playing this map do to it.
On top of that I find that you are constantly fighting 10 or more enemies at once which hurts the gameplay.
So is there a version without the increased units or a way for me to edit the map to give back the regular amount?
Anyone know of a version that doesn't have as many enemies?
I preferred it back when maximum was 32 per team.
