+1 and it would be nice to introduce more of a pirate presence with this in mind. Something similar to sins of a solar empire in that they are roaming pirates with a thicker presence and potentially more dangerous even in the late game.

I think the more prerequisites for titans the better... if you are going to have them, make them worth it.
It would be a good and bad thing (depending on who is the receiving end) to see a hotdropping supercarrier in game... especially if they are as effective as in eve.
Great idea... lots of potential with this one. I love Endless Space and have patiently been waiting for some good mods, I wish you the best and will definitely be tracking.

Keep in mind that according to the eve storyline titans were the size of small moons. I would love to see the titans in game but also think that everything should be scaled down from this picture.
Great idea... Will definitely diversify gameplay for the better. Couple questions though...
1. What about pirate (rebel) capitals? (Could just tweak main faction's stats and colors)
2. Any intention of throwing in the sansha supercarrier? It would do very well at the pirates homebase :)
I love the idea of moving your entire base to the sea... essentially possible with floating mass generators and research facilities in addition to the unit-producers. Everything mentioned in the post I give a huge +1 million. However, you guys are doing this mod right and taking your time, so just stay with it and know that you have already done an awesome job.

I am having the same problem as DNS-Freak, it will load a little bit then crash. Doesn't matter which country, campaign or setting... can't figure it out.
are the sectors in this map going to be big enough to fit a large number of ships? how is the late game, large fleet engagements?

However, the launcher will open but the game won't start. I have reinstalled a few times to try to figure it out and the only error i get is when i go to pick a folder to install into, i get the error message the the "homeworld.exe" isn't there. However, it is there and i have other mods running from the same path... any help for me?

well, if you dont have them player controlled the players will be able to focus more on combat and strategy, letting the economy run itself with minimal interaction (catpuring new sectors and research). Which could be good, could be bad... takes out a little of the overall rts skill, but adds more to another aspect of the gameplay.
as far as giving up the slots to allow it, I have two other friends who i play hw2 with, so having 3v3 would be nice, but 3v2 and upping the difficulty would compensate well. Plus, you still have 2v2...
overall i can see pros and cons to both... whichever flows best is my preferance :P
it is amazing how much you can get done... keep up the great work, cant wait to try it out.

anyone know how to play a multiplayer game for HW2... my friend and I have the 1.1 patch but can't get into the same game with each other via gamespy or directconnect
