Is there any way to increase the number of Hired Mercenaries in taverns?
It's always "me and one of my mates", so just 2, always.
Really immersion breaking.

Is there any way to make the ports of cities and fortresses unavailable to rival factions ?

It feels really odd that they can come and go as they please through my town and port, even though we are at war and I have a heavy garrison there.

The problem with Ship Battles is that my units keep spawning in every 10 seconds, and I end up having 400-500 NPCs in a battle and I take a big hit on the CPU.
Needs fixing.

Very very good mod, I've played it for quite a while now and it's really good.

I do have some observations though, regarding possible and needed improvements:

1. Ship battles : needs wider planks to get across ships, NPCs get bottlenecked on them, also maybe a few more planks could make the traffic easier.
The battles also tend to take quite a toll on the GPU, so there might be something that could be done there, maybe ...

2. Outlaws overhaul : SHOULD NOT grow in numbers and SHOULD NOT be scaled with the level of the player.
Endgame has parties of 100-200 Elite Broken Men, clearing out lords and whole armies like they're nothing.

3. Killing lords : we need an option to be able to execute lords should we wish, also the option to be executed ourselves and lose the game.
Would make for a really immersive experience, to know that you can die at any time if captured.

4. Tournaments overhaul : Something might be done here to change the old system.
Maybe the use of more weapon types, and a more battle royale approach, like 8 teams of 2 or even better, 16 teams of 1.

5. Looting system : companions can equip themselves with the best items from the item pool. Also, an auto loot options (above certain value) could be very useful.

6. Some castles have clutter objects near the attacker Spawn Points, and many NPCs tend to get stuck in carts, wagons, fences and stuff like that.
The environment would still look good if those clutter objects were removed.

7. Asha Greyjoy keeps calling Theon Greyjoy "my sister" and tells me I should "get her a dress". If this was sarcasm, then it was good sarcasm, but if it's a bug and other lords will keep referring to their male siblings as "her", maybe it could be fixed, because it's very obvious and takes away from immersion.

This is all I have for now, the rest of the mod is magical !!
Never had a single bug or crash since I've installed it, and I've been playing it for quite some time.

You must not forget about mutant, wildlife and human A.I.

For example a herd of boars should run when they hear gunshots, not attack the shooter. Maybe a wounded boar would turn around and fight, but the rest should run for their lives.

Also, the accuracy, movement and decision making of NPCs should vary between stalker ranks: an experienced stalker should fight a lot better than a rookie one.
The cowardly decisions (run from combat) should be more frequent to lower class mutans, wildlife and NPCs.

And since the zone is all about survival, almost each NPC, depending on their class, should have a %HP treshold at which they give up combat and run for their life.

Detection should be individual for every NPC, it's unreal that if one of them sees you, all of them somehow know where you are.

Also, if a surrendering ability could be integrated for human NPCs, it could be useful for immersion.

Another thing would be, that the detector should start beeping from a wider range when near anomalies, since if you run at top speed, the time delay between the detector alerting about an anomaly and you actually stepping in one is 0.5-1 seconds.

Also, the normal S.T.A.L.K.E.R. had problems with knife range being too short (backstabs) , where it was almost impossible to backstab an opponent (which should be insta-kill) without almost pushing him, rendering all your stealth tactics useless when he started screaming and shooting.

I'm not sure if you'll like this one, but deadly anomalies should not be scaterred randomly throughout the map, but insted be concentrated in specific areas where some sort of big problem occured (feels stupid running through the woods and stepping into a vortex or an electric anomaly and insta-die).
That sort of thing always breaks the immersion and makes the game feel meh.

Anomaly fields with hazard signs (placed by others before you), yes, random anomalies throughout the map, no....

And in the end, PLEASE DO NOT DUMB DOWN THE GAME, like having crosshair and minimap that shows enemy counter and red dots where your enemies are, and binoculars that highlight all and every one. If you really must, make some kind of Heath Detection Binnoculars, but not that [ **** ] from the old game.

And also:
- NO 3rd PERSON - that is for **** games and will be 100% abused
- NO instant action effects for: medpacks, bandages, energizer, pills, food, drinks and other stims
- Simple minimap, that shows terrain and buildings ONLY, or no minimap at all (we got PDA)
- Overall less gun violence, more fist and words violence (we're people after all, not savages)
- NO nameplates over people, chat bubbles or other retarded visual indicators @westerngaming2016

You have a chance to create THE BEST GAME in history, don't blow it !

I am serious.
Started following the mod in January 2015.
Initial release date for this mod was: May 2015

Then some "problems" were encountered, the release date was pushed to autumn 2015, then other problems with the X-ray engine, release date set to early February 2016.
And again, other things had to be fixed, release date pushed to May 2016.

Alas, June 2016 and the release date is: "To Be Determined".

Well know what? F**k this!

I've started following this "mod" at the beginning of 2015, release date has been pushed for more than 1 year since the initial announced release date.

Dead mod is dead.
A 15 year old child with 1h/day spare time could mod at the speed you guys are.

And when you think that I've actually wanted to buy / donate for this.

Max disappointment.

Too many, way too many!

It's supposed to be "The Zone", not the public park on a Sunday.

I'd pick quality / realism over quantity. Make the weapons do real damage and the NPCs shoot / behave like real people.
I had a mod like that installed once, using high caliber AR-PEN bullets you could kill a full exo with 1-2 headshots.

1. 6-18 NPCs (18 NPCs are a shitload of NPCs ... Play Realistic Mods and you'll understand)
2. 2-8 NPCs
3. 1-4 NPCs

And also, stalkers move, I can't imagine 25 men camped at one spot doing nothing for days.

Now that, seems more realistic to me.

Dense forests don't make much sense to search, good loot is in the cities / villages, where people used to be.
Undergrounds are a gamble, you can score big, or come out empty handed, or even worse, not come out at all.

Don't waste your time with petty things like knives and very detailed and cool looking models.
Gameplay >>> ALL
Make sure your world is bugfree and working, leave the skins for last, they are just skins after all.

I've tried out the merge mod, it's awesome, except the random anomalies.

I got hit by a flame anomaly in water (zaton swamps) ... really ?

You shouldn't have made them random ... or at least, put just some as random spawns, not all of them.
Awkward situations can appear...

Also, I've been playing Stalker Clear Sky nowadays with Complete Mod.
This mod had a function "wish granter" which allowed you to do a lot of things in game, even join factions, not just ACTOR_Factions but also NPC_Factions.
Maybe this info will help you with future design.

Can the A-life and the NPCs be made to treat the player as another NPC?

If so this would open countless opportunities for CO-OP and Multiplayer, since the actual problems in the XRay engine are about NPCs and Mutants not detecting all the players, except for the 1st one they see.

If that could be fixed, than this mod and this one Moddb.com put together, and with some work on quests and other stuff, could be the next level **** in stalker mods.

Just imagine, a game where you could go through all the locations and make all the quests of all 3 games, in a co-op scenario, just .... awesome.

The character itself, the animations and the weapons look AWESOME, it's the "next level ****", but the rest, is just plain old 2006-2009 STALKER.

Asking these because Merge Mod 2015 has 1.6 GB in size and A.I. Merge Mod 2015 has just 800 MB.

What happened to half of the data from the precious release ?

Also could you add some info about what mods do these 2 releases have included (merged)?
