I would love to get the old-style grass shadows back, if that's possible.

Can one disable the screen space shadow effect on the grass but retain the weapon self-shadowing? If not then how does one completely disable the screen space shadows effects?

ANOMALY's problem is intractably awful gameplay.

Hey man, fantastic mod -- Just finished playing through the game and for some reason the ending sequence doesn't play correctly. I'm not sure if it's this mod, the High res world textures, the high-res weapon textures, or the dx11 mod but it's been smooth sailing until the absolute ending of the game.

I appreciate this mod all the much more after playing the new version of ANOMALY. Kudos to the team behind it; ya'll know how to balance enjoyment and challenge.

Okay, so the problem stems from trying to install the updates available on Discord over the RC15 available on this site; this does not work, the only version the Discord updates work with is the RC15 available at a torrent link:

The RC 15 on this site doesn't even work as a base to update to the later versions from. It's completely borked.

I have a very annoying problem and it has been persisting for months. I've never been able to use any version of this mod beyond S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly 1.5.0 Update 4 and hotfix 8 without the game s***ting out missing .DLL errors.

This problem starts with RC16 and persists all the way through RC22. The files the game says are missing are not included with the mod, are not mentioned in ANY of the faq files, and are not mentioned on the mods main page, https://vk.com/anomaly_mod, which is also where all the later updates can be found.

Why is this happening?

The "missing" files are:

discord_game_sdk.dll (wut)
icuuc65.dll
tbb.dll

Adding these files from rando sites (a bad idea) doesn't fix anything. The stlupid game still doesn't start.

What is wrong here?
