Where will these be used?
I love the texture in the last picture. And I like what you've managed to turn it into.
There's always a bigger boat.
Actually, the Hand's Phalanx-class was the heaviest capital ship in game before. Excluding Battlecruisers and SSDs.
On a side note, by now that should probably be the Imperial II-class.
They will have to wait until Petroglyph updates the disk version, or until the Steam patch somehow becomes applicable to the disk version.
Actually it was more of an alliance. Both governments still acted independently. They only properly united in 140 ABY.
Wait, does that mean Thrawn doesn't die if one agrees to voluntary progression?
And what is the point to continuing this? I don't think there's anything left to achieve by now.
Meanwhile, Jeroenimo has not commented once on this entire mess, and you've been responding the entire time. To what point, I wonder? I think your logic is flawed somewhere.
Also, no offense, but it seems a bit off to be advertising your own Executor-class here.
I figure, if you hadn't commented that, someone else would have. It would have happened anyway.
Well, the plan is to get the political stuff done first, then atleast give the majors a focus tree.
Good news! With thanks to another amazing modder who helped me, I got the events to fire properly, meaning that I'm now completely resuming work on the mod.
Well, since events are failing to fire properly, there's been no notable progress.
Well, seeing as the start date of the First Indochina War was in 1946, I could very well have it a war at the beginning of the game. Then again, the rather problematic functioning of events caused me kinda to give up on modding Hearts of Iron IV. I'd also have to balance it out in a way that Viet Minh can actually win against their counterpart without having to take a boat and sail to France.
I like your suggestions though.
Okay, currenty I'm being delayed by the functionality of events. Events in Hearts of Iron IV hate me when it comes to triggering, just to inform everyone.
I don't have a definitive release date, but I expect bring out a beta as soon as atleast all the parties are finished and the Chinese civil war is ready to be played.
I'll look into Guangzhouwan and Tibet.
The Commies in the south are guerrilla forces, they don't own any territory there but have been present from 1945 to 1949.
The 38th Parallel can't be created properly with the provinces map. While I could edit the provinces map, this would also affect future Korea and make it impossible to have North and South Korea the way they currently are. So it'd be sacrificing current accuracy for later accuracy.
I checked a map, Dobruja was kept by Bulgaria. Yes, I plan to give the Yugoslavians a focus tree. In fact, I already did start on it.
It doesn't stop in 1955, that's just how long I know I'll expand it. I plan to make it to the fall of the USSR atleast.
Thanks for pointing that out! I'll fix that right away.
Warsaw Pact also happens later on. Bear in mind that NATO and Warsaw Pact were not a thing in 1947.
I know. I'm using cosmetic tags so that the name shows the normal name, but their government is already Communist. Well, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia are. Romania turns Communist by event later on. Bear in mind they only switched at the end of '47. Istria was an independent state known as Trieste which was under UN administration, formed out of Yugoslav and Italian territory. Zara is not part of Yugoslavia yet, that's only later this year.
NATO can be founded by the United Kingdom if they go down the Treaty of Brussels line.
I would really have to think about making them a focus tree. However, I do plan to make events like that.
