1947, World War II was only just halted, and already do tensions rise up between the western and eastern nations. Pick a side and see if you can halt the Cold War, or will you escalate it?
The Geek Civil War is one of the wars that is present at the start. It is between the Democratic government of greece, and the Communist party of Greece. Locations are historically not entirely correct, this is to make the Provisional Government playable and to allow it to defeat the Greeks.
Historically, the Greek civil war had already fired in 1946, but there was no Provisional Government of Greece yet at the time, instead, they were only rebels and the Communist party. Not until the latter part of 1947 would there be a proper name for the Provisional government. Because of the signing of the Percentages Agreement, the Soviets did not intervene on the Communist side of the war. However, they had Communist aid no less, as Albania (a Soviet satellite state) and Yugoslavia both sent volunteers. To no avail, however, as the Provisional government eventually fell apart by 1950.
After ww2 Yugoslavia was communist state(SFRY-Social Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and they took Zara and Istria from Italy),also Bulgaria and Romania were communist states too
I know. I'm using cosmetic tags so that the name shows the normal name, but their government is already Communist. Well, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia are. Romania turns Communist by event later on. Bear in mind they only switched at the end of '47. Istria was an independent state known as Trieste which was under UN administration, formed out of Yugoslav and Italian territory. Zara is not part of Yugoslavia yet, that's only later this year.
Also Bulgaria has Dobruja
Thanks for pointing that out! I'll fix that right away.
I think that after war Dobrudja was returned to Romania, and are you going to create focus tree for yugoslavia?
I checked a map, Dobruja was kept by Bulgaria. Yes, I plan to give the Yugoslavians a focus tree. In fact, I already did start on it.
Please make an ottomans focus tree
