Ive just reuploaded the file.
thx guys
Gotta gather the files, do a last bug check and send it over :)
Its time to get it on Tommy boy :D
My eyes!
The goggles do nothing!
True.
But Xmas WILL get ported to HL 2 for sure.
Since the only time Xmas is played is during the holidays, theres not much point in updating it.
There are also 0 server 99% of time.
Altough you can expect the arsenal to be completed and more maps added. That's for sure.
I wanted this mod badly.
I love original HL SP episodes.
It's the little details that matter!
It was a great suggestion by a buddy of mine.
I do not have a host anymore.
My old host (where the current link goes to) has been not helpful at ALL to set up a website.
Plus, i just don't have the time to make one from scratch.
AND i can't even access the FTP to TAKE OUT the link to the non-existant forums!
hehe thx!
But no way am i doing it all in MS3D.
It's THE worst software for modeling. i only use it for applying textures and animating.
I model in Max 5, skin in photoshop and animate in MS3D.
Changed everything pretty much... models, maps, sound, code you name it.. everything with a christmas theme.
Xmas changed quite a bit this year between beta 0.5 and 1.0
Alyx... hands down..
I'm no master of coding thats for sure
The map is Castle Morel (or x-castle) and it's got every weapon except the egon which is yet to be replaced.
Just the muzzle flash that changes depending on the color of the bulb. Still gotta code that in.
snowguy : I work on this mod solo! :D
This mod MUST SURVIVE!
It simply must...
Yeap
Coding as well.
There is no aspect of the HL engine that i can't modify myself. :D
That is a bad shot to promo.. it's got nothing interesting in it!
Looks like a newbie HL map from 1998

I am a hardcore gamer and a 3D artist at heart. Ive been at it since 1996 with the release of Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 game from LucasArts. I started as a level designer and moved on to 3D modeling shortly after that. Then came the wonderful game that is Half-Life, made by Valve Software. This game opened up a whole world of possibilities for me as it features great gameplay, awesome graphics that were ahead of its time and most importantly, it was easily moddable. The modding community exploded with the release of Counter-Strike which, beleive it or not, i helped test in its early beta days. I loved working on changing the game to my liking by creating replacement models, spending countless hours making multiplayer maps, editing and creating higher resolution textures and making custom animations and even new sounds. I touched every single aspect of game design, even coding.
