Welcome again Xmas fans!
My college finally in the bag, the time to update Xmas has finally come. Coding wise, we've been busy ironing out the gameplay issues with some weapons as well as propose new ways of using the ammunition you pick up when you don't have the weapon to use it with:
Here is the current list of changes for the next version which may or may not be 2.0:
Stapler:
-Removed the zoom
-Decreased damage by half
-Increase ROF
-Increase mag to 25
Still need to do:
-Give it a spread (right now it's 100% accurate)
-Make it curve down the farther it travels
-Decrease it's power depending on the range
-Impale your enemies when at close range (maximum power!)
RagingBulb:
-No more annoying fidgeting anim
Still to do:
-Decrease accuracy when unzoomed
RPXTL:
-Recoil (kick back from firing, moves the player back a little)
Still do to:
-Smoke trail replaced with snow trail that trickles down
Maybe:
-When picking up little trees but dont have a launcher, maybe use them as mines?
Panther 5000:
-New sounds (not final)
Still do to:
-Make it curve downwards and loose power as it travels (like stapler)
Maybe:
-Like the RPXTL, picking up some eggnog, you can use them as grenades similar to Natural Selection's Gorge with it's Bile bomb.
On the modeling front, all remaining weapon models are underway, namely the remade M4A1/M203 (AR), the C4 digital Camera (Tripmine) and the evil nutcrackers (snarks).
A new map is also planned called "X-mall" and has the name suggest, it will be a 32 player capable mall upon which to give "BOXING DAY" a new meaning!
