It's based on libtcod, a roguelike engine that I think DF also uses. It's an opensource base for roguelike games altogether.

Just merge IndieDB into ModDB and be done with it. It's basically doing that already, with news posts at least.

EA can't do a god damn thing to this mod. It owns the movie rights and the movie rights alone. Since VU owns the book rights and is distributor for HL2, there may be a chance at this happening.
