So you're doing the in between universe between Euro City 17 and New York City 17. I personally prefer New York because it's consistent, and also has some pretty grandio scale potential but we'll see how it turns out.

Are you guys using the Episode 2 engine or Vanilla Half Life 2?

I don't know man. They are very similar visions. They are aiming to recreate the Half Life 2 story, add cut enemies, and have a different feel from other mods like it except for this one. You guys have the same vision. They are in need of devs, and you guys are fit for the job. If you guys just come together, you can get this done faster and more efficiently. You don't need to separate yourselves from them. If you want to add your own spin, you still can. You being on their mod team would influence how they would do things.

Since you know what you're doing, is it possible to put the sounds of L'Aigle into North and South or Napoleonic Wars?

I'm well aware that they're not dead, and I never said that they were dead. I'm well aware that they don't have to release anything, and I never said that they had to. This is just a worst case scenario type thing.

Have you guys considered working with the Raising The Bar team? They've gotten pretty far from what they've showed us.

Hey guys, the Half Life community really appreciates what you guys are doing. However, in the event that this mod is cancelled, you must release what you have as a download to everyone. Something that they can put into their sourcemods and play. This way the next beta recreation mod will get further than the last until we hopefully have an almost complete recreation.

Well, Half Life 2 did take place in the early 2000s. The 90s didn't really end until 2003.
