******* love this addon!
I love this mod so ******* much. Just the amount of different ways I can go on killing sprees against the different kinds of enemies with the MASSIVE amount of weapon choices is mindblowing! Brtual Doom is almost tame to me after playing this extremely satisfying mod. You have spoiled me lol.
Though, there's one thing I wish I could do: Fire my weapons while performing slide kicks. I'd LOVE to be able to slide kick into a room full of bad guys, popping shots from my dual handguns (or any other weapon) right in their ******* faces as I launch by them. >:D
Or better yet, slide kick past some unsuspecting Imp while sawing his ******* legs off with a chainsaw!
Also, happy to see the progress on this mod continues! Glad to see the that the "Final" revision I downloaded back in October (on my birthday nonetheless!) wasn't in fact your final version.
Keep up the amazing work!
Right when I thought Doom couldn't blow my mind any further after becoming addicted to Brutal Doom (and then Project Brutality to a much more extreme extent) I come across this piece of sexiness. :D
Been playing it with Project Brutality and the UDV visor, and I gotta say it's some of the most epic looking **** I've seen in a long, long time. I don't mind that all the extra **** added to PB doesn't have voxel graphics.
Performance wise, I'm not seeing any real hits to my performance compared to playing without it (outside of the 1st level in the Zones of Fear megawad, anyway).
Keep up the amazing work, man!
Ah, I see. Time for me to look console commands then! Thanks for reply.
It's all good. I've wanted to see a non-chainsaw weapon in Doom for years, so this sledgehammer's like a dream come true!
I can't describe how fun the first level of Doom 2 is with this. Mixing hammer swings with the knife and kick is way more satisfying than it should be. :)
Only thing I noticed was the primary swing looks more like the sledge is turning 90 degrees rather than being swung towards an unlucky imp's skull.
With that said, I'll be using this whenever I play from hereon out. Great job!
One quick question: Is the portal gun a literal gun one must in a level, or is it more along the lines of "hit hotkey, portal appears?"
Just wondering as I've played a few levels and haven't come across one as of yet.
