I've got an idea for a minor faction. Make a race that looks like humans, but have ever so slight rat features on their face. This race would be particularly wealthy, and the nobles would be weak, as in have low iron flesh and power strike, but have very high trade, persuasion, and leadership.

And they would have poor native troops. Basically they would have low tier fighting ability, but high trade, persuasion, etc. The main fighting force for this race is mercenaries. About 3/4 of their parties would be mercenaries.

As for how they behave politically, this minor faction would be automatically allied with whichever faction is the strongest militarily. And, the minor faction they would have that faction (the strongest one) attack the neighbors of the minor faction, and give the conquered lands to the minor faction. You can see how this would be bad for the strongest faction, being in a constant state of war, and obviously for the neighboring factions to these rat people.

I think a quest to eliminate them would be worth adding too. Once the player establishes their own kingdom, they would get a letter or message from a mail carrier that instructs them that this minor faction of rat people are incredibly dangerous, and need to be removed. If the player succeeds in exterminating the rat people, he gets a ton of rewards. A new armor set he can equip his customizable troops with, called the "SS heavy / medium / light armor". It would come in 3 full sets. So his archers, knights, and foot soldiers can all have SS armor. Plus, the player would get a special set crown called the "Crown of the 4th Reich". Or maybe, "Crown of the Purifier" either works.

Call the minor faction the jews too. And the quest is the "save perisno from the new world order" quest.

perisno is by far the best m&b mod out there. I'm so hyped for giants and customizable troops. Those redwood elves won't know what hit 'em!

Depends I guess. I usually sign on to the Baccus empire, the crosbowmen are tough, and infantry aren't bad. Not much calvary, but I end up hiring mercenary horsemen.

Ravenstern isn't bad either, but I don't play as the fervsten, sarleons or the desert guys. I make my own faction (perisno troops) when I start my own land too. But yea, Baccus, or Ravenstern, are best overall

Those armors look really cool. Could ya make some type of RevSpartan looking armor set, like in perisno? 300 spartan knights would be dope.

And the Eventide helm, with the cape, is cool, but can ya make the cape not cut right through the middle of the shield? Blend it somehow?

Also, I have like 4 or 5 serpent army spawns near my cities. I took over the Baccus empire and yea i know that the snake cult is there, but 4, or 5 armies with 800 or so troops at once, is ridiculous. How about one at a time? wtf.

Also, some lords have armies with over 1000 members. I mean really? WTF am I suppossed to do about that? I have 9 leadership, about 4k reknown, and I'm no where close to that many troops. Plus, these lords will have a reknown of under 1k, yet still have 1000 troops?!?! Fix it in the next patch, or it is back to perisno for me ... ... ...
