You may be right, but for me, I feel like I am unstoppable, almost at war with every major nation and I still keep conquering all I want and losing nothing… it keeps away the trill of the campaign.

I played a lot this last version and enjoyed it.

My suggestion to improve the playability for the next updates is improving strategic AI (I mean it is not aggressive nor effective. It very rarely conquers my towns and never tries to take its back) and the other aspect which will improve the game in my opinion is to give a much slower rate to army replenishment. The last update changed a bit things but armies can still refill how much ai wants (even if causing damage ti economy and unrest, but ai don’t seems to care ). A pace similar to normal warband would be better, something like a full replenishment in two weeks or similar.

Ok, my two cents about this mod:

The mod is unique on many aspects but there are game breaking aspects which in my opinion make it not really enjoyable, I suppose I must stop playing it until things change.

- the real problem number one is that lords and full armies are spawn too damn fast after you defeated them and even the restore of they army when it is partially defeated is matter of ten seconds. I have seen ai lords fighting while I was sieging a town (the lords who were following and enemies) without interruption because the amount of dead soldier were refilled perpetually. This ended or in a enemy lord chasing me while the two armies were fighting, or me stopping sieging to aid my lords. But then again, once defeated and started sieging the town again, in a few in game hourse the whole army of several lords (the same I had defeated) was there again and all was the same again again and again…

Is there a way not to see defeated lords to be back in ten seconds with full army? It is such a nonsense, and it let battles taste useless…

One more thing: why, when I attack a lord with all my army close to me and not engaged in battle, I always finish fighting with just one or two lords helping me while the enemy has even very faraway allies to help him, did you change it on purpose? And what is the purpose then?

This mod is amazing!
I just wonder if you can implement something to make battles shorter, for exampke giving artillery a fixed amount of ammunitions, pushing AI to do something whenthey finish

What this “battlesizer” is for? Just go to warband rgl file in user/document and change manually the battle size (write 2 or 3 to have around 300-400 size)

I set free my freelancer lord yesterday. It worked fine to me, I asked to speak to the prisoner, paid 100, talked to the prisoner who asked for keys. Then went out again and instead of the 100 coins line I picked up the bottom line which tells to give the keyes and fight came out. Are you sure you spoke to the prison guard? Just one of them is the prison guard

I like hystory too, even if I am not an historian, but what kind of evidence it should be, a couple of pages on the internet, showing some pavise shields?
Come on guys! The internet is full of garbage and to take what is written for example in wikipedia or other sites as a fact is very naive.
For what I know, zedpaolo has always made historical accurate mods, for what it is possible to do... and it is true, there are always been guys annoying him for small details.

The main problem in this mod (at the opposite of the original Conquest) is the complete lack of profitable trade routes. Even at day 180 I can’t find any really interesting trade route: the differences of prices are nuts, everything is expensive everywhere even with 6 trade skill.

It for sure depends on the low production in the villages. Some villages should produce a lot of one item. Only in this way the player can find profit in trading, and eventually enjoy this mod. Unfortunately there is no way to fix it by text files...

I can only guess how much work and time it took to make the scene of Roma or Venezia or the other main cities. It is not possible to ask to zedpaolo (who said he stopped modding) to make new scenes... and if it were possible... there would be thracian poleis waiting first.
