Try installing to a folder on your desktop then move it to it's proper location, Eg; Source Mods/ username/HL or what ever... You should find a "README" in the folder that will tell you.

This mod escaped from a mental institution!.. Some of you seem to like it so I won't rate it, just check it out for yourself. I removed it myself.

I ran this one, made it to the plane, but then there is that barrier that is supposed to blow. Even if you clip it, it won't change to the next level.. I can't give this any more than a 2..

Allot of the crashing is caused by Steam's constant updating of it's platform. back in June over 40 of my mods quit working at all, the day they updated. But I have another beef with this.. You NEED HL2 Ep1 to play it. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY THIS ANYWHERE ON THIS PAGE. In fact it says that it is for Half life 2. I give it a 1 for that.

I AM going to download this and check it out...like you said...Why can't the rules be bent?and I have always thought RULES are meant to BE bent...I've played A LOT of mods. I have close to 80 of them. HL 1&2, heard all kinds of arguments that mods should follow the story line, stay in line, do what everyone else has done and done and done and done... I don't agree with that in any way. same old same old makes BORING. Always the same enemies, same weapons, same pretty much everything with few exceptions. Time to take things in a new direction. Cactus had some art links up for new models of zombies, monsters that looked more like orcs and other things that were AWESOME!.. Few have dared to step outside "The RULES" F K the rules...It's high time to break the rules! Step outside the box with HL mods.

This is a great short mod, it's not to short, 45 minutes to an hour, a bit confusing due to well hidden passages (GOOD work on that)

You could definitely make other missions/maps for this one. Ya know? other solo ops missions..

knocked the chopper out of the air at the farmers market Map City2, but nothing else happens. Can't get the "Barneys" to follow me anywhere, managed to push them out into the street and in one attempt got them all three to the alley that goes around the truck, but that's it. Once the chopper is down there is nothing else to do or happening. No credits no nothing. SO there's a glitch or two.
btw, nice work on the sound..
OVER ALL? FINE work indeed. Hella fun, great old school atmophere, good lighting and textures. It was just them two problems.

8.5?! are you kidding me? This is a stunning mod. great fights, deadly traps, complex puzzles... It has it all. 10 of 10..

Are decent voice actors so rare? People who can't read a prompt, script or cue card?. I've done voice overs for years, they are hard to get jobs because there are so many of them. Everything I have ever heard on any game or mod have been pretty generic. It's not rocket science.

Check with Phillip Marlow of PlantPhillip.com There are a lot of modder members on that site.

You might ask Phillip from PP or Dave aka Davlevels on this, in the console there is a way to raise or lower the damage you can do to npc's, I'm assuming there is also a command line for lowering npc damage as well.

I'm surprised this only has an 8.5 rating, These games are great. new and old school stuff. I gave it a 10. I have this and play them quite a bit.
