Well I just say again that neither are oppressed because there are too few cases, at least in North America. Also why was the last post taken down?

Cervi took it down along with the rest but as I explained to him:

This group does not (and should not) censor. We are not like the atheist group. We support free-speech.

We've lost the other images now too along with some constructive discussion that came with them.

The underlying problem (meanwhile) still persists.

Thanks Cervi.

Just when I got somewhere with CommanderMcCarthy, we're now back to square one.

Why are the atheists so hell-bent on proving my image right by censoring me? They're trying to hide the racism and bigotry of Evanp and the extremist censorship ComradeWinston advocates. They are the biggest hypocrites of all time, those two.

I'm not a fan of the censorship either but it has nothing to do with racism. From what I've heard it was because the comments were turning trollerific and angry. Anyhow, racism hasn't, isn't and never will be tolerated in the Atheist community and group on ModDB.

We saw the image before Cervi deleted it Spudman. You didn't.

Which image would that be? The cow-f**ker one? Because that insult has nothing to do with race. It is, however, highly insulting to the religion of Hinduism. If it is something else that I missed during my brief absence, then I apologise.

I do disagree on that. It wasn't racism but it was still hate-speech none the less

On that we can agree. Religious based hate speech is, although not race driven, a low thing to comment about.

If it gets out of hand again I will delete it, their is a difference between censorship and civility

I am putting my foot down

be civil, if you want to be inflammatory and make broad claims that all atheists are intolerant (as Hindu was) start your own page
this isn't the place for it

This IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE

I don't think he was making broad claims. Besides, deleting all the images and the arguments gets us no where.

You have your own group for censorship. Do not bring it here.

It was all civil until ComradeWinston decided not to respond with an argument (as you do in debate) and instead incited an irrational campaign against me and HinduMan.

This goes for everyone, I don't care what you believe

in the past I know I have been somewhat guilty myself but no more.
O and Hindu, if you try and claim I am protecting evanp or I don't understand bigotry I should let you know. Im a native American- so yes I do understand bigotry, prejudice, ethnic slurs and insulting portrayals in the media and how offensive they are

You're still guilty as you refuse to deal with the problem in your group (and instead incite more flames by your reply to HinduMan there).

yes calling all atheist "intolerant , racist and closed-minded"
is very civil

So again all of you (knight, Hindu, evanp, Winston etc.) will stay civil

good day.

Only he didn't say that (although you take all statements against any atheism to be personal) but we can't check to see now because you deleted the images. Now it's all anecdotal (the atheist's favorite type of evidence) so we've ended up two steps back.

Knight, there's no point arguing with them. What ComradeWinston and ☭Evanp☭ are doing is fine in the wacky world of the atheist but one picture speaking against their lies, hatred, bigotry, intolerance and hundreds of offensive images in their group is spam in their wacky world.

I copy and pasted it right before deleting the images- it was his description of one of the images

again, as long as you stay civil I will leave it alone, and hey if your sweeping statement is accrue I have no problem- such as if you had said all Stalinists are atheists, ok. if you said the Stalinists that commited war crimes were atheists that's ok to.
But trying to imply things like all atheists are racists or that being an atheist makes you a war criminal are not. as Hindu has tried to it will be deleted.

these are the conditions,

Militant atheist beats up priest. Nydailynews.com

Atheist sues teacher for praying for sick student. (This is oppression as it seeks to take away religious freedom)
Foxnews.com

USSR sought to end all religion and banned it.

Meanwhile most religious nations accept other religions and world-views. Official atheist state nations do not and oppress anything that is religious.

Two can play at that game: Indonesian muslims call for an Atheist civil servant to be beheaded-http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/archive/calls-to-behead-indonesian-atheist-alexander-aan/
Also, the USSR attacked the Church in the name of their communist ideology as it provided an alternative teaching and leadership to Comrade Stalin and was a symbol of the old and hated Russian Empire. Edit: How do you post HTMLs as links like that? I know that makes me sound stupid.

What part of "Meanwhile most religious nations accept other religions and world-views" didn't you understand? Your atheist nations persecute religious people without mercy.

"League of Militant Atheists" persecution of religion in USSR:

League of Militant Atheists was a real thing inspired by their belief in atheism naturalism.

Description

Reposting since the atheists took it down.

(And I never made this. I found this on Facebook)

Religion is oppressed. Not atheism.

Nydailynews.com

Foxnews.com

Loc.gov
Thenational.ae

I never said there was no atheist who was ever discriminated against just that there is no persecution or oppression. The oppressors are the atheists who seek to take away religious rights, freedom, symbols, free speech and who attack priests and kill religious people due to their atheism and anti-religion. Sources are above.

So there is such a thing as militant atheism.
