Hi my name is Deer, love pc gaming some shooters, RPGs, RTS that sort of thing. I do some modding (mostly in the RPG,RTS deparments mostly coding, cant model very well and don't have the tools for it anymore.
am in College right now working on a degree in Anthropology ( for Paleoanthropology or Forensic Anthropology) with a double minor in Psychology & Evolutionary Morphology and Functional Anatomy with an Obective of a PHD and a job doing research and teaching somewhere. Am normally pretty busy with classes, don't have alot of free time but am willing to help if you need it.
I would personally consider myself an atheistic agnostic and an anti-theist. I have a low tolerence for bullshit and my greatest pet peeve is people who think they know everything and yet know nothing (also known as young earth creationists) and people who blindly follow without thinking and with no evidence.

I noticed comments from you complaining about what "Christians did to your ancestors" but what you fail to realize, is that the Europeans just happened to be Christian when they colonized America and eventually destroyed many of the Native American tribes. That they were Christian though had nothing to do with their actions. Secular Europeans would have done the same. Certainly many self-professed secular "rationalists" of the time also saw the Native Americans as primitives and barbarians (which realistically they were, with several tribes at least practising human sacrifice and cannibalism so they weren't exactly the innocent saints you make them out to sound).

An earlier example would be the Vikings who went to America centuries before the Europeans and ended up having several battles with the Native Americans, all of them bloody. Should we blame Paganism then rather than culture differences and the fact that many nations have always been lustful for new land or resources (which is what most wars in history have really been caused by)?

The deaths of the Native Americans had nothing to do with religion but rather the west's desire to colonize new land. That the Native Americans were primitive didn't help their own cause either.

The British Empire continued expanding their own empire right into the 19th century. They committed many atrocities against the Indians in India (such as massacres) and all in the name of their empire, queen and country. So very secular reasons. And as you know, the American War of Independence was because of the secular British Empire wanting to keep America in its colonies in its ultimate plan to dominate the entire world. Sure England may have professed Christianity as its official religion (it still does now) but everything the British Empire did was secular in nature and done in the name of the Empire not religion.

Long story short, your irrational hatred at Christianity is unfounded.

read the accounts written by the people who committed theses acts, they almost always justified it with Christianity, believe me I have done my research here, but it doesn't matter anyways, I don't hate white people, Christians or anybody else, its the past and I don't care- but I do get tired of Christians trying to blame atheists for things then play innocent. The comment was an irritated response to that.
The truth is Christians have been bloody murdering bastards, so have jews, muslims, Buddhists, hindus and yes even athiests. All races, religions and creeds have.
To say religion hasn't effected these acts is absurd, its part of history and reality, you just have to deal with it.
You no more are responsible for the Native American genocide, the crusades, the inquisition, slavery or the Holocaust as I am for Mao or Stalin's actions. We are individuals, not the groups we identify as- you are not your religion.
I am in no mood for a long debate and see this as done. The reason this is barely coherent is that I am writing it on my phone, I just got off working double overtime on 3rd shift.

and p.s. your a tad bit racist in your commentary, the natives weren't "primitive" or "savages" they were in many ways quite complex and easily rivaled Europe in many areas, except they didn't have a middle east and Asia to invent everything for them (gun powder, metal smiting, mathematics, and ocean worthy ships to name afew).
and human is a delightful and delicious food source, I eat babies all the time.
