What can quake-c do in a quake 1 engine like darkplaces? Plenty.
How about an improved imp morph?
This guy can shoot fire balls, slash, switch to explosive plasma, and even do a "pyrotechnic" trick - watch as the air around him bursts into flame balls.
Look close - some of the plasma impacts "mirv" into more plasma fire balls.
Explosive impacts on walls even break loose some rubble.
