Ahh ...now this could be useful in the Mod I'm (trying to be) helping with.
Can you tell me where in the SOA source-files I'd find the code that makes this possible ..or was there a fairly serious reworking of the code to enable this?

The biggest problem I have with moddb is I dont find out about comments like this - until nearly a year later!

I'll respond to this in the forums and send you a link via pm.
This in the hipnotic quake-c which is already released.
But...rotating doors are tricky.

Trying to decide a good showcase of quake-c in a video. Difficult as qc is part of the underlying quake one physics engine. Then Hipnotic came to mind. Scourge of Armagon ( Idsoftware.com ) gave us among other things - Rotating doors! The underlying quake-c is crucial to the operation of rotating doors. Seen here is the quintessential demo - at the very beginning of the SOA singleplayer start.
