The end is nigh. The infected are lurking everywhere and chances of survival are slim. Left 4 Dead focuses on the story of 4 individuals and their harrowing battles against the hordes of the infected that roam the streets. What about other survivors? What would they look like and what kind of deformed monstrosities would they be up against?

I like louis more than that guy on the far left anyway.
the version of bill and francis of this pic are soo awesome that they realy makes me wonder why they removed them. (must be coz they both have an american flag on their shirts lol)
but the guy that is louis in the pic realy sucks ***
They wanted the chars to stand out from the infected. That is the reason why they changed them. As far as the old Louis, the old model they used made him look more like a homeless guy. It kinda went against the background they wanted to give him, so it was changed for two reasons there.
For Francis they wanted more of a new-age biker look, personally I liked the original model a little more but that is my opinion.
Zoe went through a lot of changes and I can't remember them all for sure, but I think what they went with was the better in all truth.
Bill I think went through the most changes but I could be wrong.. at one point he was a old man who honestly looked too old to be fighting anymore, to a young man who did not quite fit what his back-story was supposed to be.. What they went with was probably the better one overall.
The beta really look like Hobos :S
