The end is nigh. The infected are lurking everywhere and chances of survival are slim. Left 4 Dead focuses on the story of 4 individuals and their harrowing battles against the hordes of the infected that roam the streets. What about other survivors? What would they look like and what kind of deformed monstrosities would they be up against?
Winners are grinners and to be a winner you have to enter an original concept art piece before the deadline. The competition is done and dusted, the counter below has hit zero and the winners are announced. The aim of this competition was simple, create a new concept art piece which fits either the "survivor" or "infected" Left 4 Dead theme. The winners will be chosen by Mod DB and Valve judges, with the top 3 being showcased here. All finished entries received are shown in the image gallery.
