This is the ModDB group for the Half-Life Creations website! Half-Life Creations was conceived in 2006 then created in 2007 by Thomas "Editor321" and James "Minuit". It was designed to be a haven for modelers, skinners, coders and developers of all types that have a focus with Half-Life, Half-Life 2 and anything related to the both of them. It is the mission statement of this web site to provide a professional atmosphere in one of the most well respected gaming communities on the face of the earth. Third party developers have shown us through Counter Strike, Day of Defeat and many other official modifications can be improved upon by the talent in these communites. We hope to build a strong community where all developers can chat, exchange ideas, release work and find web hosting for their own projects.

There's been great news for this project, many I can't even remember! Perhaps the coolest one is that we are working on the final levels of the game. Yup, the long wait is going to be worth!

Time for update! There's been great news for this project, many I can't even remember!

Perhaps the coolest one is that we are working on the final levels of the game. Yup, the long wait is going to be worth!

I'll compress the news.

· We are working on the final levels.
· Created around 10 new maps, multiplayer ones also.
· Created about 160 new custom textures.
· Togheter, with forum, video, and ModDB sites, we just hit half a millon views. THANK YOU.
· There's new people in, for example Hawk, who created tons of new features and did lots of bug fixes so the multiplayer version works great.
· Blindside is around, to help us to create the NPCs exactly as we wish :)
· The voice acting is now being done.
· Linux support.
· Tons of other news that won't fit here!

Lot of stuff going on here! This is shaping up well.

I´m only concerned about the plane hijack... How is it possible to rappel from a chopper to a airline plane´s wing, plant a bomb and enter it all while the plane is flying? It would be much more believable if the player remains hooked to the rope until the door is blown up.

The hijack sequence was more like a proof of concept. The map is WIP. There will be changes on it so no worries.

why did you guys get rid of iron sights? and is the weapon customisation system still in place?

We are planning to do ironsights like in SMOD (where the model changes the position) We did some tests and is going to work. Not sure if we will have ironsight per se, but surely a way to do accurate shots. Is not a feature that worries us much.

The weapon customization is still in place. Works perfectly in multiplayer now and the customization is saved on the profile, per weapon.
